The Pieta by Michelangelo is recreated here in a metal miniature replica mount to a wood display base with a metal"sign" on the front that reads ROMA. Up for consideration is this Hard To Find. Wonderful older paper weight of Michelangelo's famous"La Pieta" the Lamination of Christ, depicting Mother Mary cradling Jesus, carved in a clear Lucite 8-1/8" high x 4-15/16" wide, almost 1/2" thick panel mounted in a plastic wood grain base. Overall measurements are 7-1/4" high, 6-1/2" at longest and 2-3/4" at widest.
