This auction is for a heavy gauge French vitreous enamel on steel sign. The sign is slightly domed with red and black enamel in relief. Giving it excellent definition. Pristine condition. 2 ¾" hig h 7½" wide. Rue Chateaudun is in the heart of Paris. Near the Opéra. The shop, Néon-Publicité, has long gone. It made and sold neon advertising signs. I have the last few of these signs held by them to fix on the wall next to their installations. Free shipping- combine it with other items and get a rebate. VINTAGE SEVEN FOOT NEON ENTERANCE SIGN IN HOT RED METAL CASE For sale is this 1970's vintage seven foot long neon"ENTERANCE" sign in a hot red painted metal case with a plexiglass cover. This sign adorned a Western Massachusetts Gentlemen's Club for several years. We purchased it a few years ago when the establishment closed and its fixtures were sold off. The sign functions perfectly. We have had it in storage with plans for it we never got around to. The sign has mounting brackets fastened to each the right and left sides of its heavy gauge metal case and is capable of being hung outdoors. The exact size of the sign is 82 1/2" long. 11 1/4" wide and 18" tall. We are sorry that we are only listing this with a few pictures. Great example of of early advertising art. Sign is off a old Minneapolis dive bar. In decent shape but showing some of its age. To be expected after 75 years of service Some rust but overall its very solid. Redone in 2008, new transformer and a few new letters. We broke one of the B taking the sign down, but it now repaired good as new. Sign is 71"H x 24"w& 12" deep. It weighs about 90lbs. What a great christmas item for you friend in Los Angels. I was told this neon light was made in the 1940's but don't hold me to it. It doesn't work. It measures 21" across and 17" high. x 5" deep. The case is made of metal. You take the red plastic cover off and wind x-mas lights or LED strings around the existing neon tubing. There are holes in the back where cord comes out and plugs into wall. In pretty good condition but there are two stress cracks on the sides of the red cover. Not the front. And some dark drip marks that might come off. It weighs 6-1/2 lbs. before packaging. I try to ship the cheapest way but safely. Due to its age and in case I might have missed something, this item is sold"as is" so please ask questions before bidding. Rare piece of Colorado theater history! Believed to be circa 1940s Marquee sign from the historic UNIQUE theater in Salida Colorado. Complete with original letter panels and rails. Neon transformer, and period light bulbs(look great function unknown) Sign is in great condition structurally and has been stabilized for transport. Neon tubes mostly gone, minimal rust and even wiring harnesses appear in good shape for age. Unbelievably cool patina, this sign is unique, literally! Excellent restoration project this sign is being sought by a sign museum in Denver, CO but we can't afford to donate. Wires have been snipped so it would need to be rewired. I have no idea if the neon works. It appears to be intact. Letter stands 16" high. 15" at its widest point, and 5 1/2" deep. Letter could be displayed with only the top portion(red& gold) if desired. Letter is in very good condition. Large Porcelain Enameled Neon American Legion Sign Lake Wawassee Red White Blue
Large porcelain enameled sign salvaged from the Lake Wawassee American Legion of Syracuse. IN. Sign disassembles into 6 pieces. The arched panel that reads American has a flanged seam below the E and below the N. The signs red and white trim pieces along the bottom edge and along each side of the RICAN panel are removable. The red and white trim along the AME panel is fixed. Sign does have areas of porcelain loss along some edges and around some holes. Manufactured by the South Bend Neon Co. Measures 120" tall as pictured. Legion panel measures 23" x 48" AMERICAN panels measure 97" tall. RICAN Panel is 27" wide. There is no neon for this sign. Huge RARE Vintage Porcelain 3 Colored Bordens 88" Diamond Neon Ice Cream Sign
You are buying a 88 inch wide by 35 inch tall Rare(try finding one) Vintage Porcelain 3 Colored Bordens Ice Cream Neon Sign. This was purchased at an Az estate of a long time ice cream and 50s diner memrobilia collector. It was one of the many great items at this estate. It has a couple chips in the porcelain but it just adds to the character of the sign. Great colors too. Works great. I can't be responsible for shipping this but could definitely help figure out a way to get it to the potential buyer. It has been restored once I believe. I am no expert.
