Vintage LETTER S SIGN Advertising INDUSTRIAL CHANNEL Marquee Wall Art Home Decor
Up for auction is one vintage"S" sign piece. This is one neat old"S" The main body looks to be made from tin/galvanized steel? And the red and gold look like maybe plastic? The main body was painted at some point maybe? The red and gold front is in decent shape for its age. It shows some scuffing on the red, and weathering on the top edges of the gold where the sun and weather hit it. However, it looks nice! The Front can be removed for access to the internals. Although, the neon is no longer inside: I am sure it would be easy to re install neon if so desired. It measures 22 1/4" tall. 11 1/4" wide, and 6" deep. It has various mounting holes, and is drilled for neon. It also only weighs just under 7lbs, so could be hung on a wall easily! Just think, this would be perfect for little Sarah's room, or Sam's ... moreden! and even for the Smith family! If you have any questions please ask. KOOOOL VINTAGE retro "LA" METAL NEON LIGHT SIGN LETTER CHANNEL MARQUEE WALL ART
What a great christmas item for you friend in Los Angels. I was told this neon light was made in the 1940's but don't hold me to it. It doesn't work. It measures 21" across and 17" high. x 5" deep. The case is made of metal. You take the red plastic cover off and wind x-mas lights or LED strings around the existing neon tubing. There are holes in the back where cord comes out and plugs into wall. In pretty good condition but there are two stress cracks on the sides of the red cover. Not the front. And some dark drip marks that might come off. It weighs 6-1/2 lbs. before packaging. I try to ship the cheapest way but safely. Due to its age and in case I might have missed something, this item is sold"as is" so please ask questions before bidding.
