Antique Vintage Exit Sign Movie Theater
This lovely sign measures 12" x 20. It is from a local Pacific Northwest movie theater. Green glass broken. Clean. Pretty straight crack. My husband put duct tape on it. Vintage Art Deco Exit Sign movie theater rare antique glass lights
This is a rare movie theater art deco exit sign. It came out of an old movie theater in central PA. The glass is about 12"x 8" when it is out of the base. The glass is cut in and painted red for the letters. This is how I found it. I only added the cord. I was tempted to painted the base silver but I will leave that up to the new owner. It will be well packed and have insurance. Payment is due within 3 days of auctions end. I ship only to the lower 48 states with advertised shipping price. Vintage Industrial Double Sided Metal EXIT Sign Green Glass
This measures 13.5" wide. 9" tall and the depth is 4.25" I have not cleaned or even attempted this at all. The original green glass is on one side but the other is missing, it would not be hard or expensive to have a piece of glass cut to fit it. It has porcelain sockets for the lights to screw into. It's in great vintage condition! I try to always start my items off as low as possible. This item comes from a smoke and odor free home. Vintage 1940s / 1950s Duro Decal Decorative Transfer Business Sign - EXIT
Vintage 1940s/ 1950s Duro Decal Decorative Transfer Business Sign- EXIT Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Vintage 1940s or 1950s black and gold transfer for a business or fun application at home. Stating EXIT. Made by the Duro Decal Company, Chicago, Illinois. The instruction card, for approximate sizing of the label, measures 4-1/2" by 7-1/2" The card itself was stored with a slight curve, but the label does not seem to be affected by this. I tested one of these before listing to see how it worked after being in its packaging for at least 50 years. And here's what I found: 1) when placing the decal in water. Be sure to hold the corners of the paper flat, as the paper curled immediately when placed in the water, which put hairline cracks in the decal; 2) the decal had to be soaked in luke warm water a little ... morelonger than stated before it began to lift from the paper; 3) sliding these larger decals off the paper takes some care. Especially if any cracks have occurred in the decal during soaking; 4) the glue behind the label was still sticky but probably not fully up to par. So consider either a) not applying this at all and just cutting the decal for framing or b) not applying this to a surface that will be exposed to water or the elements. Vintage Early 1900s Industrial White to Red Movie Theatre EXIT Light Sign OLD! This is an original exit sign from an early movie theatre. The sign appears to be steel or aluminum that was painted to look like brass. There are two panes of glass behind the exit cutout. The top one is white and the back one is dark red. When this was originally mounted on a light box. The backlight could be turned on when the theatre lights were turned down, causing the sign to change from white to red. There are very few flaws in the brass paint and we only found a couple of small fleabites on the edge of the red glass. Nice vintage industrial heavy Lighted Exit sign White with red letters thick glass. It has an aluminum body with 2 thick glass panels red letters and a white metal panel back drop. It is manufactured by MC Philben MFG Co in Brooklyn NY. It will have scratches and normal wear along with some paint splatter. The thick glass panels are in good undamaged condition. The wire and sockets look good but they are untested and may or may not work. The fixture takes two bulbs. The bulbs currently in it need and adaptor as shown in the pictures to work. The access panel is at the top just below the canopy.Overall it is in very good condition. Measures approx: 18 5/8"wide X 12 5/8"tall x 3 3/4"thick. Vintage Small 5" Round Art Deco Lighted Exit Sign Wall Mount Light Fixture
This auction is for a small. Wall mount, lighted EXIT sign. The fixture measures only about 5" in diameter and the red glass lens is only about 3 1/2" It has a couple of small chips on the edge, but they are not visible when in use. It has some small paint specks and some paint around the base, but no damage. The front hinges open to change the bulb and it has a porcelain socket. It has a great Art Deco style with concentric circles and stylized letters. Low minimum bid, no reserve!
