Vintage Cast Aluminum 2 Piece Garden Sign Moultrie Georgia Kiss of the Sun Poem
This auction is for a vintage cast aluminum garden sign with detachable spike. The sign measures approx 14" x 7 3/4" The stake measures about 21 1/2" long. The front has the"Kiss of the Sun" poem in raised letters and the back is marked Moultrie Mfg. Co. Moultrie, Ga. It is in good original condition with most of the paint intact. Appears to have been well cared for. I think it dates from the 1950's or 60's. Low minimum bid.

I got this many years ago in NYC from a loft above a theatre on 14th St. You could actually go out a set of glass doors. Stand on the actual marquee above 14th st, and change attractions on the sign from above. The symbol is 10" tall, made by the"ADLER SILHOUETTE LETTER COMPANY" and has 4 tabs on the back to lock into angle-iron"tracks" in the face of the lighted sign. These were phased out either when colorful plastic letters were invented or a passersby was killed after on of these aluminum letters blew off in a wind storm. Huge Lot of Antique Vintage Marquee Advertising Letters Cast Bronze Aluminum OLD
Huge lot of old vintage cast metal letters for marquee or advertising signs. Almost 9 pounds of letters being offered! Includes 1 large K letter 7 7/8" tall; 61 letters about 3 3/4" to 4" high and these look like cast aluminum or alloy metal and a couple have mare marks on the back side; 15 smaller size letters about 2 3/4" tall also probably aluminum or allot metal; and 21 smaller size letters that are mostly cast bronze and brass. I counted 98 letters in total- 97 are fine and 1 is broken in 2 pieces but both pieces are present. All came from a local estate where the family had owned a metal casting business for several generations. I guarantee these are all older vintage cast metal letters. 1950's Vintage Cast Aluminum Address House Sign Holder Bracket Carriage Horse Beautiful Golden Color& In Very Good Intact Condition This is a neat vintage sign for hanging your house address. Or for advertising the name of a restaurant or business. This has a great 3-D look with a 4 horse look(2 on each side) Carriage With driver& 3 passengers. Has great detail and was handmade with great detail& pride. It is made of cast aluminum so it is quite light but very sturdy w/ 3 mounting holes on mount& 2 holes on bottom for mounting your sign to(just use"S" hardware hooks) It is hand-painted a unique light golden color with some aluminum& the paint is pretty much intact with minimal loss. Looks like it attached to a gate, post, building, or possibly train? Measures approx. 8.5" across circular portion, 12" from top of arm across round sign area. Approx. 1/2" thick. Vtg. Cast Aluminum Duck in Flight Mounting Address Name Plaque Sign-Daugherty
this sign plaque is made out of cast aluminum. the cast letters are also cast alumi. and are removable. the name daugherty is on one side only but you can put the name on both sides. the goose id attached to the top. some put a clamp also around it i guess to double insure that it doesn't blow off in heavy windy weather. the mounting section is 8 in. long and 1 3/8 in. wide. the arm is 15 1/2 in. long. the sign area is 14 x 4 1/2 in. wide. the goose is 11 1/4 in. tall and 7 1/2 in. wide at the biggest section. the letters are 2 in. tall.
