This was purchased at a Garage Sale. Not sure of the story that goes with it, but I no longer need it on my wall, so here is your one and only chance to own this Great Condition ORIGINAL Street Sign at a great price. It is in almost Perfect Original condition with just some sticky residue where duct tape was used to hold it on the wall. There is one area where tape was on one side that a little of the green reflective paint pulled off but it is barely noticeable. This auction is for a vintage cast aluminum garden sign with detachable spike. The sign measures approx 14" x 7 3/4" The stake measures about 21 1/2" long. The front has the"Kiss of the Sun" poem in raised letters and the back is marked Moultrie Mfg. Co. Moultrie, Ga. It is in good original condition with most of the paint intact. Appears to have been well cared for. I think it dates from the 1950's or 60's. Low minimum bid.

Stand on the actual marquee above 14th st, and change attractions on the sign from above. Huge lot of cool vintage aluminum letters. These range in size from 4.5 to 12 inches. Some have what appears to be a reflective sticker that has been applied to the surface but can be removed. These look great just sitting in my grass for the picture but would probably be better on your wall or any number of different ways. They have a place on the back as can be seen in one of the pictures where a threaded bolt would have went into to mount but most bolts are broken off flush and may be difficult to extract. I'm sure you could figure out several other ways to mount them if need be.

Nice vintage industrial heavy Lighted Exit sign White with red letters thick glass. It has an aluminum body with 2 thick glass panels red letters and a white metal panel back drop. It is manufactured by MC Philben MFG Co in Brooklyn NY. It will have scratches and normal wear along with some paint splatter. The thick glass panels are in good undamaged condition. The wire and sockets look good but they are untested and may or may not work. The fixture takes two bulbs. The bulbs currently in it need and adaptor as shown in the pictures to work. The access panel is at the top just below the canopy.Overall it is in very good condition. Measures approx: 18 5/8"wide X 12 5/8"tall x 3 3/4"thick. Vintage Industrial. Cast Aluminum Sign/ Plaque. The letters CHI( Black/ Red/ Gold) appear superimposed upon each other in circular cast frame; with arm extension, with round opening. Looks like it attached to a gate, post, building, or possibly train? Measures approx. 8.5" across circular portion, 12" from top of arm across round sign area. Approx. 1/2" thick. The letters could be for Chicago.CHI Fraternity.Company? Maybe someone out there knows! Condition is very good, with some paint fading and micro- tiny specs of paint. Old vintage dog wood and metal sign. Nice. Can be cleaned up, painted, repurposed, etc. Old sign came from an old estate sale. The white letters are made of metal also. The dog is metal. Most likely cast iron and the bottom portion is wood. All painted black. Original I didn't touch it. Please also check out my other items. Thank you

Vtg. Cast Aluminum Duck in Flight Mounting Address Name Plaque Sign-Daugherty
this sign plaque is made out of cast aluminum. the cast letters are also cast alumi. and are removable. the name daugherty is on one side only but you can put the name on both sides. the goose id attached to the top. some put a clamp also around it i guess to double insure that it doesn't blow off in heavy windy weather. the mounting section is 8 in. long and 1 3/8 in. wide. the arm is 15 1/2 in. long. the sign area is 14 x 4 1/2 in. wide. the goose is 11 1/4 in. tall and 7 1/2 in. wide at the biggest section. the letters are 2 in. tall.
