But magnets do not stick to any of the metal throughout. If you look closely you will see that some of the plating has worn. But by no means takes away from the awesomeness of this vintage equestrian décor item, as a matter of fact it compliments it and gives it a bit of character! I have had this piece in my possession for well over 35 years and purchased it from an antique dealer way back then. This outer layer of this wall piece measures approximately 24” in diameter. The second. Interior layer measures about 12” in diameter and the horse head measures 6” W x 7” H x 1 ¾” D and has bridled detailing and weighs a little over 9 lbs.
