We have up for bid A VINTAGE CATHOLIC LAST RITES SICK CALL SET COMPLETE AND AS SHOWN IN PHOTOS. It doubles as a sick room last rite set and believe it dates to the 1950's or 60's. The wood looks nice can't say if it is maple. Cherry or walnut. The crucified JESUS is made of some type hard plastic. The wood lid slides up to open and lifts off to a cut out in the cross that holds a bottle of holy water(evaporated) and two small candles with an instruction paper sheet. There are two holders for the candles. I see no problems with it other than on the back where it was against the wall there are a few very minor marks. I didn't clean it and my photos may show a little dust in the grooves along the sides and bottom. This item measures approximately 12 1/2" high and 7 1/2" wide and made to hang on the wall. This is complete to the best of my knowledge. There is also a bottle of Holy Water but it doesn't appear to be the original. There is a small repair where it seems to have been broken but isn't very noticeable. It is in the original box but it is pretty"beat up" It says Ivory on the box. It has a book that tells how to use it and also a book of prayers. The Cross is 7" high and 8" when in the base. The base is 8" long and about 4" wide. Hanging on the wall it's 12.5” wide x 7.25” tall. The top slides on and off. There is a hole in the back to hang it.

Nicely done sick call crucifix. This one is a large 16.5" tall and 10.5" wide. It easily slides open to reveal the contents as shown. The candles have been used. The holy water bottle is there and intact. Faux mother of pearl and brass trim as well as expertly crafted wooden cross make this one a real eye catcher! The back has a hang hole to hang it on the wall.

VINTAGE SICK CALL SET A Nice Old Sick Call Set. This is a nice solid wood cross/box with a gold tone Jesus INRI. Not sure if Jesus is metal or a heavy plastic. The outer cross slides off and inside there are two openings for candles along with the original candles and bottle still wrapped in cellophane. I am not certain. But it looks like an instruction sheet or insert is also wrapped with the candles and bottle. The cross measures about 13 1/2" tall. Buyer pays USPS postage. T hanks for looking! Vintage Viaticum/Altar Sick Call Set With holy water bottle, linen, plates
Antique Wooden Viaticum/Altar Set for Sick Calls includes 2 metal plates. Holy Water bottle, Pure Irish Linen, Holy medallion, informational booklet that shows an arrangement of the Sick Call Set and instructions to the spiritual service and other information. Items are in very good condition. One of the plates has been bent on one side and the holy water bottle cap is chipped on the side. Otherwise, everything is nice and clean. Dimensions: height 11 in. X width 6 in. X depth 1.5 in. The front of the viaticum/altar has a crucifix with Jesus. To open the altar slightly press the middle near the cross with your thumb and slide the cross up until you hear a click noise. To close. Slide the cross down after placing it in on the metal hook.

Vintage Wooden Cross Box with Crucifix Wall Mount This is a vintage maple box in the shape of a cross. The lid has a crucifix. The box is in excellent condition. The box holds 2 candles and an empty bottle. I think the box may have been used by a priest to make house calls. Not sure. The box is 12 5/8" long and 7 1/2" wide. The crucifix on the top of the box is 5 1/2" tall. The box can be hung on the wall. And it looks just like a cross with Jesus on it. Buyer pays calculated shipping. Seller accepts Paypal.
