Measuring 3 and 3/4" inches by 7 and 1/2" when folded, and a full 29" by 22" horizontal format) when unfolded. It dates from 1931 or earlier. As the following is in script handwriting on the back: Aug 6, 1931 Killarney to Parksnashilla to Adare 147.6 miles" note: Parksnashilla" is a misspelling of Parknasilla, which is in Co. Kerry, Ireland) The notice in the lower margin reflects the elegance of a slower. More polite era: The publishers would appreciate the friendly co-operation of users of the map, in suggesting corrections or additions. The map is mounted on cloth. With land elevation represented by a color code consisting of 11 colors ranging water, to sea level, all the way ... moreto above 3000 feet. This is a really lovely old map in used condition and with all its charm intact. Please see the photos. Which show several of the little holes that occur at most of the cross-folds, along with small areas of discoloration. A shame that maps are not made like this today.
