Antique Holy Card HOLY CHILD w/STARS - Carmelite Nun in St. Therese's Order
This is a vintage holy card previously owned by an ancestor of ours who was a nun in the same Carmelite Order as St. Therese of Lisieux. Sister was a young novitiate at the time and helped care for St. Therese before her death. Sister collected holy cards(almost all were French or Italian) and sent them out to family. Or gave them away to people she met, as a faith promoting gesture. Her favorite cards to collect were those that depicted the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Virgin Mary. This one of the Holy Child is Italian. Its larger than the average holy card and measures 5.75 inches by 4 inches. Which is postcard size. Ships same day as payment is received. Email with questions. Vintage 1930s/40s 18" Composition Carmelite Nun Doll.
No international shipping. This listing is for an unmarked 18" vintage all composition doll with excellent stringing. She is either from the 1930s or 1940s. She is from the Carmelite Order and has all her original habit clothing. Shoes socks, and even the rosary around her waist. There is a dark stain on her Habit as shown on the photos. I would say she is in really good condition for her Age. She even has a beautiful complexion with rosy cheeks eyebrows. Eyelashes intact, lip coloring. Her beautiful brown sleepy eyes are both functional without crazing. Her composition is without crazing. She does have a small small line crack in the back of her left lower head as shown in photos.
