Lighter and darker woods inlaid at center of the cross. The ends are in a modified fleur de lis design. There is a small round metal finial on top with flat sides that stick out a tiny bit. There is a small signature on the back that looks like a zig zag with a line through it or like a"V" upside down connected in a continuous line to a"V" right side up(turned diagonally looks like a"Z" Zig up.
