Pair of Edwardian Period Needlepoint Upholstered Stools Probably England. Circa 1900-15 These fine stools are crafted of solid mahogany. Hand crafted into perfect frames for tight needlepoint scenes. Each scene is a unique and carefully stitched two dimensional country scene of a maiden among trees and foliage with animals in the foreground. The legs are straight and plain, squared and solidified with a stretched gallery of turned rods along all sides of each stool. The underside of each stool cushion is a faux leather nailed around the edges. The finish is a deep polish over the mahogany stain, glowing throughout with a well developed patina across the stools. UHL Stool This vintage UHL stool dates from 1940-1950. The stool adjusts up and down and adjustment works perfectly(height of seat from 16 1/2" to 24" When the seat is set in it's lowest position the top of the backrest is 30" high. The original seat and back have been refinished to a rich dark walnut with a satin lacquer clear coat. The seat measures 16" wide and 14" deep. The backrest measures 13 1/2" wide and 6" high. Both are 3/8" thick. The seat swivels freely. The foot rest ring is 20 1/4" in diameter which is more desirable than the standard 16" The chair was completely dismantled and sandblasted by a professional. This petite window bench has wonderful form. The arms scroll outward and into the seat frame, the entire frame covered in a striped upholstery, which stuffs over the frame of the seat. The sofa rests over two tapered and molded front legs, each of solid carved mahogany- the back legs are slightly backswept, tapering in a plain leg. This is a gorgeous designer piece. Industrial Toledo Metal 14" H Rolling Stool 14" D UHL Steel Furniture Painted
All castors roll and ossilate freely. Original label identifies it as made by"Toledo Steel and UHL Metal Furniture Co. This one came from a closed machine shop in New Britain. Cute little guy and mighty handy. It was rusty when I got it and as much as I hate new paint I felt it needed some curb appeal. I used 000 steel wool and thinner to clean it and painted it with Rustoleum Hammered Paint. I did not paint the bottom of the seat to keep the label visible. I have some nice items including more industrial things like lites etc this week. PLease have a look.

Bronze Plated Art Nouveau Cast Iron Smoking Bench/Stool
A very romantic bronze plated cast iron bench with arm rests. In a French style. The cabriole legs on each side support the 12"x24" seat(upholstered in an antique woven botanical tapestry cloth) and become the arms on each side. Intricately carved, these arms have openings to hold the original ashtrays, one of which is still present on this piece. The style of scrolls and graphic floral patterns are very art nouveau. There is some aging of this piece. But nothing affecting the quality of the piece- mostly some light wear and fading, easily cleaned. Probably dates to somewhere around the 1920s- 1930s. This bench was made by the Cocheo Brothers Inc. of New York. The cushion material was an off white linen. It has yellowed with age. There is one button missing from the cushion. The seat is 19.5" tall and sides are 26.5" tall. The overall width of the bench is 39" This bench was a piece of high end furniture in its time. Reupholstered this piece will be beautiful. Rare rectangular footstool with 4 horn feet and original fabric
For your consideration. We offer this most unusual footstool from the early 20th century. Distinguished by 4 horn feet which are secured to a wooden base- very nicely judged with no rocking of the footstool. The striped silk fabric and decorative trim are original though predictably faded with age. The horn feet and overall construction of the piece are in very good condition. The upholstered seat measures 12" x 6 3/4" x 3 1/4" The spread of the horn feet is 17" x 9 1/4" The entire piece stands 8" high. This hard-to-find vintage creation would fit admirably into a Western-themed decor or collection and certainly elicit comment. Overseas prices will be quoted at time of purchase.
