Again with a proper cleaning this can address this. The Only major defect is small burn mark on desk portion. I took many photos so what you see it what the desk has. There are 2 drawers on the shelf that were added and not part of the desk. That is why they don't match. It has been displayed in each of our homes for over 50 years. It was always stored on the main floor. Never in the basement or garage. It was cleaned and polished on a fairly regular basis. It has not dried out. We have been using it over the last few years as a computer desk. The second photo was taken by me of is of the original owner in 1959. We are located in Freehold NJ 07728. The condition is awesome for used furniture over 80 year old. Some vintage wear, but nothing to diminish the antique beauty. The roll top rolls beautifully. The top cover appears to be restored.
