Condition: Unspecified Location: Moorpark, United States I am not an expert but an antique furniture appraiser looked at this piece recently and stated this is a unique desk that he's never seen one quite ... morelike it. It was likely made in the early 1900's. Made of oak. And has a spooncarved front. There are no identifying markings. It is in excellent shape and it has the original finish. Brass fittings show a bit of tarnish but should clean up easily with a little TLC. Three of the posts on the brass rail at the top are loose but can be easily secured with a little bit of attention. One of the rail ends is stripped so that will need to be secured as well. Otherwise this piece is ready for your home. I would be happy to provide more detailed photos if requested. I hate to part with such a beautiful and unique item but we no longer have the room and it just doesn't fit our decor. The dimensions are 40 1/2” tall its tallest point. 33 1/2“ wide at its widest point at the base, and 19” deep when closed,and 34“ deep when opened. Local pickup only.

These are extremely rare to find anymore and one in it's original presentation case is truly an exceptional find. This Omega Desk clock has an inscription on the reverse side of the case showing at some time in the past it was serviced by a jeweler. The center of case has the stamped Omega logo showing it was fabricated in Switzerland and has a serial number of 7550549. We are not collectors or experts on clocks however. It appears from a brief inspection that it's missing the slow/fast adjustment pin. Please check all the photos and determine the condition for yourself. At the present time we tried to wind the clock and it turns but does not hold. The winder for the hands seem to function properly. Being that this Omega Desk Clock is nearly 100 years old and most likely needs to be serviced again before using we are offering no guarantees or refunds. We tried to find out more information from Omega but were unsuccessful.Hope the winning bidder is a collector or jeweler and can determine more of its history. You don't find lasting quality like this anymore! The desk has three drawers on one side and two drawers on the other side. One in the center and a flat pull out on each side for writing or whatever. This desk is very solid and heavy and in very good vintage condition, with normal wear for its age. It does normal wear and tear, but can easily be sanded down or chemically dipped and refinished to bring it back to good as new. All drawers are in great condition and pulls out good, but will need a light cleaning. No dents or major damage that I can see. I DO have the key for this desk. Awesome vintage desk. I acquired this desk with the intention of refinishing it. And using it in my cabin but I simply do not have time to do that. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! A set of the FIRST DESK and LAST SEAT is EXTREMELY RARE and very hard to come by. My mother worked for an antique dealer 25 years ago and obtained a set of this rare first desk and last seat combination. She put it into my brother's room and it got loads of compliments on it. It's just a great piece. My mom is now selling the house and selling this great antique school desk set. The only damage I see is to the inside shelf. Inside each desk there was a shelf for kids to put their books. That inside shelf. Which you can't see unless you crawl under the desk, has a part of the shelf missing. I have attached 2 pictures showing it. The desk and chair are made of wood and metal. I don't know if the metal is iron or steel. The wood was painted to match my brother's room. The seat folds up as it did way back when.
