This is a nice set of six color WWII wall maps from late 1944 showing the major battle regions in Europe and the Pacific. The primary focus is on Europe with Allied forces already having landed at Normandie and marching toward Germany. In the Pacific the USA has invaded the Philippines. Has taken Saipan and Guam, and is driving toward Japan. The overall condition is excellent with no tears. These maps are a great item for collectors and historians. They were published by New England Holmstead and used by my mom and dad on their farm in Gardner Mass.

VINTAGE CANVAS OR PAPER SCHOOL MAP WALL BRACKET HOLDER 4 LARGE MAPS Vintage large wall map holder/bracket. This was used on the large school maps. The bracket works by tightening two pieces of metal together with wing nut screws which holds the top of the map secure. The piece is then mounted to the wall. This bracket works best with the maps that have a wood rod on the bottom. This way they have weight to help them hang straight. The bracket measures 45 inches over all, it will hold maps up to this length. The bracket is in nice condition, There is a some light surface rust on the back, if you want it will easily sand off and you can repaint the bracket and it will look ne w. The bracket doesn't look bad now though. You may need to drill custom holes so they match the studs in your wall. This is a heavy duty professional map holder and ... moreto be secure. The atlas is composed of different Geographers and Cartographers. The first part of this very HEAVY book is composed of maps by famous JOHN CARY and dated 1811( As the title page shows) The second part of the book is composed with maps by ROBERT LAURIE AND JAMES WHITTLE dated 1795. There is also inserted inside two maps by German Cartographer HOMANN. So I want to make clear this is a rare composite atlas. The maps by John Cary are all in very good condition with FULL ORIGINAL COLORS. The maps by LAURIE AND WHITTLE are also in original colors for the borders and features some fantastic WALL SIZE MAPS with beautiful cartouches. 3 vintage 4 '.x 3 '.WS Konecky lithograph wall maps 1950s Ex. cond.
I have 3 vintage lithograph wall maps from the 1950s. Each is 4 ft.x 3 ft. One Solar System and Outer Space Map, one Universal map of the world, and one 50-state map of the U.S.A. I didn't unfold these maps to take photos because they are so big, unfolding them causes unnecessary damage. All three maps are in very good condition Unused as far as I know. The only thing that keeps this from being mint maps is one of them has small stain that I show in one of the photos.
