When an extra bed is needed, the sofa back folds down then flips out and provides a comfortable lengthwise sleeping surface. The cushions have recently been reupholstered in a dark grey and in addition, the back cover as well as the sheet have been updated with a soft, lighter grey linen. This is truly a one of a kind space saver, just try and find another! Condition The sofa has been professionally cleaned. The back piece as well as the arms show very minor fading compared to the less used areas of the sofa. When the back piece flips down. The fabric underneath is slightly stained. Super comfortable. modern line and styling and the construction is second to none. Foam in cushions is in like new condition. Massive. Produced by Broyhill(labelled by Lenoir- the same company as Broyhill) Three sections. With each one having two large cushions with 2 back cushions and a slightly smaller side cushion. 15 cushions in all. Still has its original side arm protectors(all three) that blend almost invisibly on this piece. Each section is 62" long. 26" high(with cushions making it 29" high) 36" deep. The piece measures 31 inches tall by 64 inches long in the up position with a depth of 30 inches. With the arms down the sofa is approximately 94 inches. The seat height is 17 inches. With a click of a button on the back each arm rest folds down into a full flat lounge or daybed. The back cushions double as cushions or pillows on the ends. Surprising the Cushions along the back are tapered or triangular and are comfortable when one rests their head. They have some sort of spring assembly within. Please note that you see don't see this version to often and when you do quite often the cushions are just custom facsimiles.thereof.these are original and what they should look like.no button and tuck etc.or one long cushion. The cushion ... morefit right over the frame of the arm rests. The arm rests are covered in the center with caning on both sides. This material is original and in fine condition meaning no tears or holes. Please note that the caning is rather formidable. Not light and easy to poke through. The piece is labeled with the"FF" monogram and on the inside of the frame it is stamped"Made in Denmark" with the"FF" burnmark. The piece sports it's original teal material. The previous owner was said to have covered it in the late 70's with a zip on slip covers with a large floral heavy textile. The slip covers were removed to reveal this incredible blue teal material. The coloration resembles the close up photo shown as the camera automatically justified a slightly differing color. No visual repairs. all the spring work is fine and ultra clean. About as attractive as they come Lovely original oatmeal upholstery in remarkably good condition Has the desirable continuous arm. There are vers. with 3 piece arms(sides and back) but they are just not as sexy. Everything is original except the foam in the seat cushions. Which had decayed and has been replaced by high quality(and expensive) upholstery foam(fully wrapped) The only condition issues are a kick marks on the bottom of the legs(minimal) and it is missing one fagas strap. Oh yes. There is one ding along one arm. Shallow and hard to see. The fargas straps have a bit of sag to them. But it does not affect the sitting position at all. HELLO AND WELCOME WOW! What a fabulous Vintage Mid-Century Modern Sofa! Super groovy geometric lines compliment the very unique shape of the sofa. It reminds me of what you would see in Elvis's Graceland home! Please note there are four pillows to the sofa- three are for across the back and one for the slanted side for laying down and relaxing on the sofa. Please make sure to check out the ends/sides of the sofa the shape on the sides are different. I am guessing so you could sit or lay comfortably on the sofa. The back pillows are loose not sewn to the sofa and all of the pillows covers zip off for cleaning. There is three large seating cushions which are removable. The legs are wood.Big and round in shape. The material tag was torn off so I am giving you my opinion as to what type of material it is made of: resembles cut velvet or chenille- ... moreit is super soft! You are bidding on a vintage 1950's 3-Piece seating unit which includes two sofas and one round coffee table that all fit together like a puzzle(The coffee table in the front of this piece is not included. It is a separate auction. This is a quality piece and in great shape. But the backside of the couch on the left does have a stain. I have never tried getting it out myself nor have I tried having it professionally cleaned. I would recommend doing either, or you can do as I did. I had a throw over the back and it looked great! The other option is to have it professional reupholstered since this is the original fabric. Whatever you choose, I'm sure you'll get many compliments on it just as I did. This is a 1950's or late 1940's modern design. Split sofa in original condition. The photos tell the story, it's 8 feet 8 inches long. One of the sections is faded from sunlight. There is some light wear due to age, and on one of the cushions the fabric is splitting, but overall it's very good. The foam and all the fabric is original to this piece and over 60+ years old. This was the pride and joy of it's owner when moving to the suburbs in the late 1940's(mid century modern home) and was still sitting in the original living room. This is a three piece sectional by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. Has all the original tags that state Craft Associates. It needs new upholstery- this is the original upholstery and it is"molting" The fuzz gets EVERYWHERE. There are rips. Especially in the center piece. One of the back pieces of the sectional has a rip. This piece is on floating bases. I was going to have this piece redone- however I no longer have the space for it. In good shape structurally. Mid Century Vintage Lane Bamboo Sectional Sofa Couch & Ottomans
This is a pick up only item. Please bid only if you are able to pick up this item. Mid Century Bamboo Sectional Couch/Sofa. Bamboo is in good solid condition. You may want to recover the cushions for a more tropical or neutral decor. Cushion covers are removable/washable. Sections are approx 26" tall with 36" seat and 13" tall without cushion/18" with cushion. The sofa is 88" long on one side and 63" long on the other from the corner out. One of the ottoman sections has couch cushions so if you leave it that way the couch will be a little longer but the cushions do not fit exactly. Ottomans are 26 x 26 x 12 1/2 without cushion. This item can be picked up in Elkhart Indiana. All sales are final. No returns, as is. We are happy to answer questions and add more photos when requested. VINTAGE MID CENTURY DANISH MODERN 60'S SOFA- CHOICE OF CUSHIONS
HELLO AND WELCOME Up for your consideration is a lovely Vintage Danish Modern Sofa-1960'S Classic scoop arms- spindle rod backs- coil seating for three- wood This sofa is in very nice condition. The wood is well constructed and the only marks are- two blue marks one on the back and one on the seat- I have taken pictures of them. The legs at the bottom show wear. The coils are tight and solid. All spindle backs are tight and in very nice condition. The arms have some scratching but cover nicely with polish. As far as the cushions go- you have a choice of the large blue vinyl cushion or the six brown cushions in the last picture(sofa in the last picture has sold) Both the blue and the brown cushions are removable-zippered- Both have No marks/stains or tears in the cushions. Brown cushions are original with original foam inside.
