Fresh out of a smoke free estate, the couch and chairs look great and feel great as well, I am not into this style of furniture(we normally buy primitives for our store) but when we seen this on a house call me and my wife knew we had to buy it, all three items are in excellent condition, no staining at all that we can see, no rips or tears either( I can see only one pinky size tear in the webbing underneath one chair) some of the legs have tape brown electric style tape wrapped around them I didn't take this off I think this was done to protect them from scuffing. The legs are slanted and they are all very tight, no wobbling. The cushions on the couch are the same design front and back while the chair cushions have the same green look on one ... moreside and on the other it has a 1960's patio furniture floral design(it is a cloth style fabric) the items all have a maker badge of"International" We had sold this couch a few hours initially after listing it last week, the man who had bought it realized it was not going to fit down the hallway of his apartment, so here it is again for sale. The man that bought this says it is the style of an Adrian Pearsall piece. This is very clean and there should be reason to have it reupholstered. Ready to be but in your living room right now. Vintage Floral Tapestry Wooden Unique Bohemian Hippie Couch/Sofa ♡ Look!
This is a very lovely bohemian style tapestry couch! It has wooden framing and floral tapestry material. The frame has great detail on it. Its a hard style of couch/sofa to find. The colors are warm and so pretty! Since it is true vintage and hasn't been restored it has some wear to the frame such as knicks. Maybe some scratching and just minor normal wear. One picture shows it from behind n looks like knicks but its two drops of white paint. Probably easily removed just never tried. The two of the cushions on the bottom and one on the top are worn so there's almost a hole in the material(shown in pictures) but it does NOT affect the integrity of the couch. Its not unraveling or ruined. If someone wants to restore this as a project it'd look so awesome and there's so many ideas for what you could do. Here we have an absolutely beautiful couch. it's very comfortable as well. I'm not sure of age but it's definitely old. It seems to have a very heavy silk type upholstery. There are a few stains as shown in the picture and the one cushion has some wear going on but not very noticeable. Vintage Antique Victorian Childs Doll Salesman Sample Chaise Couch & Chair
This is an amazing beautiful matched set of antique vintage salesman sample or child's chase lounge or settee couch and matching chair in PURPLE! This is all solid carved wood from the late 1800's according to the previous owner. This is not reproduction. These are in excellent shape. And were though to be made for the children of the wealthy Victorian high class when purchasing similar furniture for their home or used as salesman samples. The child size couch is 19 inches tall, approximately 34 inches long about 28 inches across on the armrests, and 16 approx. inches deep. The matching chair is 18 inches deep and just under 17" tall at its highest point. I believe the wood to be carved Mahogany with great detail and craftsmanship. The purple velvet covering is in excellent condition for its age. it also has The underside finishing ... morematerial is also nicely covered but it does appear that at one time one was replaced, as show in the photos, one is in white and the other is black. These would be great for display, photography, etc. VERY RARE to find a match set of this quality and color. Its longest measurement from head rest to foot end is about 65" The widest portion- measured from the outward-leaning arm-rest- to the cushion edge- is about 35" Measuring across the end of feet edge- it measures about 24" The highest portion- measured at the top of the outward arm rest down to the floor- is about 27" This is a really Heavy piece- I imagine it is Solid Wood Construction. I really do not know its weight. Since. As you will see from the photo under the ruffle, it is completely upholstered, so I can't see it and really don't remember what I saw under it, when I originally bought it. This unique/ rare sofa has zippered compartments in the back which hold the retractable legs so the back can lay back into some sort of daybed- see 2nd to last picture. Both sofa and chair have their original protective arm covers. Upholstery is in excellent shape with only one frayed area under right arm- see last picture. No smoke. Animals, or odors noted.
