Vintage Aluminum Chaise Lounge Chair Mid-Century Modern w Wheels Patio/Lawn
Signed Bunting Glider Co Philadelphia Pa. Age is 1950's to early 1960's. Cushions are missing some buttons and have a few small tears at the missing buttons. It has 2 different angled back positions and also lays down almost flat. The back also folds all the way forward for storage. Total length with the back folded down is 76 1/2" With the back folded forward it is 59" long. Widest part is at the arms at 29 1/4" Inside of the frame where the cushions go is 25 1/2" Bottom is 48" long inside the frame. Top is 27 1/2" inside the frame. Frame is solid with no chips,cracks or dents and nothing bent up. Wheels have some rust but are solid and roll good. It is 21" tall at the arms. I prefer a pickup but will ship it Greyhound for $130. It takes me 2 1/2 hours of my time plus gas to haul it to the station ... morefrom here and it will eat $20 in packing peanuts. Antique Vintage 40s Coverlet Spread Day Bed Chaise Lounge Twin Bedspread Bolster
We were told this piece is from the 40s. Was it for a twin bed or a chaise lounge? This fabric is just delicious. Heavy and beautiful! What is it? jacquard, brocade? Gorgeous salmon peach color with a raised taupe floral pattern with a sheen to it. the back is like a thick cotton linen with a sheen to it also this piece is hard to measure due to the circular bolster pillow pieces in it. They each measure 10" across if you were to measure it from where the circular pieces are to the end its like 67" long but when you include behind the circular pieces. Its more like a 100" long, was probably made for a twin or chaise lounge, 41 1/4" across the center with drapes on both sides that measure 14.5" each found a couple of black mark stains of some sort on the back of one of the back corner areas. With a couple of wee spots ... moreof it showing through to the front, nothing major, may come out with cleaning, wanted to mention for accuracy We laid it up against a vibrant rug for you could see the color. Although it does look a wee darker in the photo than it is No damage that we can find. Just gorgeous, we have not laundered it, a wee musty from storage Photos were taken with and without a flash. The last 3 were without but. The coloring is more like the two next to the last photo and the others with a flash, although the flash made it look brighter, just couldn't get the color right on it, but its gorgeous. Up for sale is this fabulous pair of Richard Schultz Knoll Chaise Lounge Outdoor Chaise Chairs Style C. They were originally made in 1966. They have a sturdy frame and a well made fabric trimmed in leather. They are a Conn estate find and are in very good condition. The paint on the frame is all in tact and the leather with heavy white thread trim is all in tact except for 2 very small areas where a stich is missing. One does have 2 small areas where the fabric needs to be repaired but other than that they are awesome. They do need a fabric cleaning just to brighten them up a bit but I will leave that up to the buyer. Up for sale is a vintage 3 piece patio set. You will receive two chaise lounge fold up chairs and a regular type fold up chair Dimentions folded: chaise chairs = 33" x 25" x 6" regular chair = 32" x 22" x 8" The chaise lounge are in really nice vintage condition. There are some normal wear small marks but overall very nice. The wood has some scratching and marks as pictured. The chair has more wear and tear and is not quite as nice as the chaise lounge chairs. There are a few places in the chair where the aluminum has bent a bit. There is also a bit of paint splattered on back of chair. This does come off but may not be worth effort as it is on the bottom and you can't see it. The wood arm rests on chair look more worn than the chaises. Like it was left out to be bleached a bit from the sun. The last 3 pictures ... moreare of the chair's"issues" However. The chair functions very nicely. It is stable and holds weight well. It looks very nice when you put with the chaise loungers for an overall great vintage set. This 1950s vintage aluminum folding chair is a convertible lounge model from Adams Engineering Inc. of Miami. Florida. By 1955, Adams Engineering manufactured over 50 percent of all tubular aluminum folding chairs in America. These"ABC" chairs(America's Best Chair! were made from scratch at their Miami facility. This means unprocessed aluminum came in the factory and complete finished chairs came out. They smelted their own aluminum alloy, and molded, stretched and formed all the metal tubing at the factory. Webbing in a rainbow of colors was made there, too, and hand-stretched and assembled onto the chair frames. This all-aluminum chair has a turquoise blue webbing with shiny metallic gold trim. Here for your consideration is a vintage chaise lounge chair. Lounger, manufactured by"The Bunting Co. 18th. Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia, Pa. It is all-original with the rubber tires embossed with the Bunting name as well as the cushion tag being marked The Bunting Co. The chaise has springs connected from the arms to the frame to aid in the 5-position adjustment of the back portion of the chair. As mentioned before, there are no rips, split seams or tears to the cushions that are in a floral design. On the content tag it mentions that the cushions have innersprings. There are zippers, as well, to remove the outer covers. In the sixth picture I have shown that there is fading to the backs of the cushions as well as several water marks on the backs as well. Unlike newer chairs this piece does not fold for easier transportation-it has ... morea one-piece frame. In the full, upright position, this piece is approx 54" long(in the last, locked, position it is 64" long) 28 1/2" wide(measuring from the widest point, at the wheels) and 33" high at the top of the seat back. The cushions are approx. 23" wide 46" and 24" long, respectively, and 4" thick. There is some rust on the aluminum frame also, and though the chairs were cleaned, still have some dirt in the nooks and crannies and discoloring here and there.
