Approximate measurements are Seat area 49" L x 26" w Back area 49" L x 18" w Arm area 35" L x 29" w Bottom edge 8" long all the way around. This was made from several pieces and undoubtedly a custom job. It is in good condition for its age with some spotting shown in one area and some wear on the arm area. This particular design is for stamping a chaise'longue' or a bedspread cover for quilting. It is sized for a 3/4 size bed, but can be made larger. Often these transfer designs are printed in blue or yellow. This pattern is printed in blue only. I could not find a year on the envelope, but it may date from the 1930's. While the envelope is yellowed with age, this pattern appears to be in very good condition. I have a large collection of these patterns and will be listing more from time to time. Here is an absolutely fabulous mid-20th century brown leather chaise with lovely old style green tapestry slip cover that includes multi-colored animals dispersed throughout the design as shown. this comfortable. Functional piece is 80 inches long by 35 inches wide and the bed with cushion is place is 21 1/2 inches tall. The cushion and bed of the chaise itself measures 65 inches long and 35 inches wide at it's widest point and is 5 inches thick, so without the cushion the bed stands 16 1/2 inches above the floor. The highest point on the head rest is 33 inches and the highest point on the side part or arm is 37 inches. This chaise is large enough for a man as tall as 6' 4" or so to rest comfortably on it. The sofa is strong. Sturdy and in overall very nice condition. There are a few minor scuffs and small scratches to the leather ... moreand the one tiny 3/4" slice/puncture on the top front of arm mentioned in my detailed description above but otherwise this chaise is exceptionally nice for a piece it's age. The tapestry slip cover on the cushion does have a zipper so it can be removed for dry cleaning when needed. As shown in my photo's the inside of the chaise including white fabric below the cushion is clean and ready for use. The inner bags were torn open. But it is apparent that it has never been put together. I do not see the 3-D garden setting, but other than that, everything is in the box including the parts for the lounge, the table, the telephone, tray, tumblers, and her magazines. This auction is for 2 vintage pieces of lawn furniture. They are not an exact set. But they go well together. They are lime green; the lounge has some stripes of white, orange and yellow. I found 3 small tears on the vinyl(see photos) There is some surface rust starting on the frames in a few spots. The ratchets on the lounge work fine. The chair has plastic arm rests- no chips or cracks. You will be able to get many more seasons of use from these furniture pieces. This is an amazing beautiful matched set of antique vintage salesman sample or child's chase lounge or settee couch and matching chair in PURPLE! This is all solid carved wood from the late 1800's according to the previous owner. This is not reproduction. These are in excellent shape. And were though to be made for the children of the wealthy Victorian high class when purchasing similar furniture for their home or used as salesman samples. The child size couch is 19 inches tall, approximately 34 inches long about 28 inches across on the armrests, and 16 approx. inches deep. The matching chair is 18 inches deep and just under 17" tall at its highest point. I believe the wood to be carved Mahogany with great detail and craftsmanship. I really do not know its weight. Since. As you will see from the photo under the ruffle, it is completely upholstered, so I can't see it and really don't remember what I saw under it, when I originally bought it. You can tell, however, just from the many lovely details of the construction that does show, that it is beautifully and carefully made. I would think it to be a 1950s piece but i cannot verify the age as I am not the original owner. It measures 15 inches high and is 20 inches long. It will accommodate a large antique or American Girl doll nicely. It is made of a soft green material. It feels like a soft suede but I am not sure what the material is made of. Show signs of wear normal for age that include: marking/small dents/rust spots on metal frames; some marking/small staining on webbing; marking/scratching on handles; loosening of bolts that may need to be tightened. There is some give in webbing on seats and a few places where there is minor fraying of webbing. They have had a once-over cleaning. But would probably benefit from a more thorough cleaning. This is an amazing beautiful antique vintage salesman sample or child's chase lounge or settee couch in red. This is all solid carved wood. This is not reproduction. It is in excellent shape. And was thought to be made for the children of the wealthy Victorian high class when purchasing similar furniture for their home or used as salesman samples. Most likely it was a salesman sample as the legs are slightly different on each side, possibly showing options for footing size. This child size couch is 19 inches tall, approximately 34 inches long about 28 inches across on the armrests, and 16 approx. inches deep. I believe the wood to be carved Mahogany with great detail and craftsmanship. The red velvet covering is in excellent condition for its age. Great piece of Victorian antiquity! For auction I have a really beautiful doll size antique Victorian chair and love seat. I purchased these at an estate sale. I'm not sure if there meant to be for dolls or if it was a salesman sample set. But at this sale it was full of Victorian clothes and Victorian furniture. It has the Rose on top of them carved in the wood just like I've seen on real furniture. It's a velvet red material. The love seat measures 15in long X 15 tall. The chair measures 9in X 16 1/2 tall. The legs on the love seat look as though they were broke and put back on at one time. Other than that there both in nice condition. I'm no expert but look at pics for best description. Vintage turn of the century child's lounge chair. Chair would have originally had caning. But I am guessing around 30 or so years ago someone did a very nice tin punch design with a heart and other scrolling. This can easily be removed if you would like to go back to original style as there is no modification to the walnut? Frame is solid and very sturdy. Mid Century Modern Low Profile Custom Vintage Sofa Chaise 10 ft
Selling this beautiful. Low-profile MCM sofa/chaise. While I am not sure of the original maker, what I do know is that the woman who owned this piece(this was purchased from her estate) had it custom made by the manufacturer to a size of 10 feet long. One end has the arm rest, the other does not. This piece is very solid and heavy and is in beautiful condition for it's age. There are a few punctures on the end of the couch near the arm where she had a sleeve pinned over the couch to protect it.
