This was reupholstered by the original owner in a beautiful high quality white textured fabric about ten years ago and has been kept very clean. All of the cushions have metal zippers and there are adjustable foot glides on the base. I purchased these at an estate sale here in Santa Fe from a woman who had lived many years in Finland and returned to Santa Fe with all of her European furniture. I am selling a newly upholstered vintage. Retro style Henredon Sofa/ Couch. It was made in the seventies. It would easily fit into any Mid Century Modern decor, or contemporary design as well too. It is a very versatile style. The fabric is a wonderfully cheerful chenille with big funky flowers. The colors are dark brown background with orange. Red, green, and gold flowers. The cushions are amazing. They are the original goose down pillows. All the cushions on the whole sofa are down filled. They will never break down like foam does. This couch was very expensive. It has never been used in anyone's home with the new fabric. All the different side pillows are not included with the couch/ sofa. The side pillows made with the matching fabric came with the couch/ sofa, are included. They are made with Goose Down also. I can not stress enough ... morehow well made this couch/ sofa is. Possibly made my MOLLA, as they were the company whom made their name in the market by offering cast aluminum patio/outdoor furniture which in the salt air tends to rust less easily instead of wrought iron. Condition is 9.5 out of 10. With 10 being best. Only reason for not being perfect is a few paint scraps to the frames. Most notably on edges/points. No rust. All welds/connections secure. Fabric is clean& free of odors! Cushions are newer. We purchased from a well maintained St. Louis area mansion. Looks not sat on at all. Cushions were ordered by their interior decorator, but we are not sure if the fabric is outdoor fabric or not as this set was used in their three-season/sun room, most probably not. The paint is an off white ... moreand the 3” thick cushions are a two-tone beige/tan repeating pattern as shown. Sofa measures 68” wide. 31” tall at back and 30” overall depth. 14” from ground to seat cushion level without cushions. Mid Century Modern Custom Velvet 94" Sofa (down cushions)
Description: This sofa was custom-designed by Scott Kinnebrew for Gallery Crafts in Michigan and has some amazing lines(slight curve to back) Detail(welting) and construction. I have meant to get it reupholstered many times, and each time I had an estimate I heard, they just don't make them like this anymore. It is covered in a velvet which was originally a green but has faded to a gold-chartreuse over the years, well before I purchased this from an estate sale in Glenview, IL in 1999. It is currently located in my apartment in the Wicker Park area of Chicago. The sofa is solid. But could likely stand to have some springs re-tied. All of the seat and back cushions are down-filled and still super-comfortable and long enough to sleep on. The back cushions are plump, but the seat cushions could use new or refilled down channels as they have ... morelost some of their shape. The sofa has wooden legs that are all in excellent shape. The upholstery is most definitely in vintage condition with some pen marks, minimal cat scratching, wear to arms, and inconsistent fading/water marks(all pictured) It's still serviceable and in better shape than in many other sofas, but it would be truly stunning reupholstered in a new cotton velvet. My father purchased this couch in an antique shop in the Hampton’s in the early 1990’s. And was told it’s an original mid-century modern sofa made by Knoll. It is a very large couch- 8ft long by 4ft wide. It’s covered in beige/golden suede, with beige and green pillows. The cushions and pillows are in good shape, but there is some damage to the suede on the leg and the backing, and the couch is in definite need of re-covering. We’ve been told this couch has some value, but I don’t have the energy to research it, and I figured putting it on E-Bay and letting the buyers decide is the best determination of value, anyway! Vintage 1960's Jens Risom aluminum gro up armless sofa. This rarely seen aluminum framed sofa is absolutely stunning. This piece was reupholstered in Knoll Velvet(Mohair) and shimmers above the thin lined. Brushed aluminum base. Simple. Stylish design cues include the aluminum back bar, and nine buttons across the seat's back. This sofa is the most comfortable armless sofa you'll ever sit on. Man cave, or office decor collector. Measures approx. 65" inches in width by 25" inches depth by 42" inches in height. The Chair measures approx. 25" wide by 25" deep by 42" high. All Original and in fantastic vintage condition just needs to be cleaned up a little.Very Rare Item to find in such great condition! I found it in an estate sale. I saw the room it was in. Mid Century Modern Sofa Very nice flexsteel mid century modern/Danish/swag/retro sofa in the moss green with gold accents. This sofa is in very good condition for its age and I haven't even gave it a cleaning yet as it really didn't need it. The sofa measures 87" long has the wood feet and the sleek curved edges. These are the ones everyone is looking for to go back to the good ol days. Flexsteel made an awesome frame and this one has definitely lasted. Even though I don't believe it has seen much use or wear. I am not sure what else to say but come get it. Buyer picks up or makes arrangements to have shipped-I would also consider bringing part way for the right price. Thanks and feel free to email with questions.

DESCRIPTION: 1 of 2) All original Mid Century Modern/ Danish Modern style sofa daybed designed by George Nelson and manufactured by Herman Miller. Zeeland, Michigan. A single back rail raised on twin posts. Flat bench with original chenille upholstered cushions, raised on long pencil tapered legs, creating a very Scandinavian look. Complete solid birch wood frame. Metal spring supports are tight and in good condition. Ideal for live/work spaces, small apartments, guest rooms or even used as sofas. Please refer to photos for condition. Extremely comfortable! In overall fair to good original vintage condition. All but one label have been removed(inspection Herman Miller label) present on 2 of 2)The cushions are in overall excellent condition as is the overall condition of the wood frame with only minor wear. Scuffs, scratches, etc. commensurate ... morewith its age. The frame is bowed out of place and needs to be readjusted, glued and clamped. The actual wood is not bowed, crooked, kinked, cupped or twisted. Just needs to be put back into proper position. The bed is solid and functions perfectly as is. Aesthetically the legs take a splayed inward and outward look due to the positioning. Likely an easy fix. 50s 60s Mid Century Modern Draper Era SOFA Vintage Hollywood Regency Velvet
This is a GORGEOUS Hollywood Regency style sofa that will make a statement in your home. It is on trend with Pantone's 2013 color of the year. And is cover in a fabulous crushed velvet that has seen little wear. Any variation in the color is due to the lighting on the velvet. There is no fading on this sofa. I keep wanting to call it Robin's Egg Blue. It makes me so happy just to look at it! The legs are made of a metal that looks like tarnished copper. They give it a very nice touch. This will go freight. My estimate is 500.00 for professional packing and delivery.
