However the legs screw in and could easily be replaced if you want to install your own legs. The upholstery is in fantastic condition with no rips or stains. There is a touch of rub wear in the lower part of both front corners and a small area of loose stitching in one corner(see closeup) Some rips in the black mesh on the bottom. It is a generous 10' 6" long and ... morehas walnut veneered tables built in each end and solid walnut trim. The sofa sits on nine tapered walnut legs with brass casters. All of the casters roll smoothly making it easy to move the sofa around the room. The back of the sofa is fully upholstered as well. It is in very good vintage original condition and can be used as is. Or reupholstered to suit. The original upholstery is in very good condition with some light wear, but no tears, rips or stains, and no noticeable odors, the bright spots in some of the pics is sunlight) There is a loose seam on the right front corner of the cushion as shown, but it's not bad and would be an easy repair if it bothered you. The foam is in great shape with no sagging or hardness. The foundation is excellent, and the frame is sturdy and tight. The walnut veneer and solid walnut trim are in very good condition with some signs of wear to be expected with age and use. There are two small veneer patches on the vertical portion of the left table as shown in the close-up. There is also a faint dark ring on the left table top. The walnut trim along the bottom has a few dings and scratches, but nothing noticeable. All of the flaws are shown in the close-ups. Overall it looks fantastic and could be used as is, as we did) but it's 40+ years old and not perfect. I would be happy to send additional pictures, just let me know. Measures 126" long, approx. 49" deep from the back to the farthest point on the front, seat depth is 23" not including the back cushions. This is a refinished mid century design couch 2 long cushions. One for bottom and one for back, have been recovered in a blue(kind of aqua? ultrasuede fabric and tufted with buttons(one button popped, have button, just didn't fix) It is roughly 9 feet long sits lower with a total height of about 32 inches total depth approximately 36 inches this is the biggest thing that I've ever sold. So I don't begin to know how to ship, so obviously I'd prefer local pick up. And I've listed it as local pick up to deter just a straight bid at some cost that I'm completely unaware of. However. I'm happy to take a shot at shipping. It will likely be freight/drop shipped. Below is what I've taken from what someone else noted, but again I don't begin to know the costs. MID CENTURY MODERN PEARSALL STYLE SOFA BENCH SETTEE ATTACHED DRUM END TABLES
We are pleased to offer this gorgeous. Mid Century Modern, Adrian Pearsall style, bench/sofa/chair with attached end tables. This unique piece was initially used in the lobby of a Commerce Bank in Missouri in the 1960s and had been with the same owner since the 1980s until we acquired them. The bench is SOLID and features a hardwood frame. The bench section is padded lightly and covered in the original aqua(green/blue) fabric. The drum tables are located and attached on each end. They feature a walnut/pecan wood veneer. The bench(please note that the listing is for one bench but we do have two available) is quite sturdy and was constructed to use(not just look good) It could be used in a number of rooms from the entry hall to the living room. It has a great profile! PLEASE NOTE* The bench does not have a back. Photo number one is shown against ... morethe back of a sofa(like a sofa table) The bench is in good condition. There is very little evidence of wear to the fabric. The drum tables do have some scratches. Particularly to the lower sections. There are a couple of minor chips to the veneer in these sections as well(cleaning crew bumped with vacuum? With very little effort, they can be restored to their original glory. As they are, they are quite lovely and afford lots of character! The end tables are bolted to the benches and do come apart. This way, you can recover the fabric if you so desire and could stain the drum tables as well(see picture 11) The holes in the drums are threaded inside which is a nice feature as well. The benches are identical. They measure 7 feet in length. They are 19" deep(front to back) The seat height is 19" tall and the tables are 20.5" tall. The tables are 19" in diameter. We are pleased to offer this Mid Century sofa or entry table. This is rare piece which has a unique combination of Art Deco. Mid Century Modern and Rustic elements. The sofa table dates to the 1960s or 1970s. It is a 3 piece design. The table offers two substantial, pedestal, columnar legs as well as a substantial top. The top has rounded ends which pair nicely with columnar legs. All of the pieces are expertly wrapped in a beautiful Pine veneer which has a gorgeous grain pattern. The table top also features a center inlay of yellow pine veneer. The top has a deliberate interruption of the linear veneer pattern which is a circular design that corresponds with each leg. Inside this circular feature, a narrow band of Rosewood is inlaid in the pine veneer. This gives the top additional interest. The table top is notched underneath so that each ... moreleg fits securely. The table is very heavy and extremely sturdy. It is in very good vintage condition. There are a few minor chips to the veneer on the top at the curved ends. There is some slight wrinkling in the veneer of the legs which is not uncommon considering the age. None of these is distracting or glaring. This is a very unique and beautiful table. The table is 66" wide and 17.75" front to back. The table top is solid and measures 4" thick. The wood is well constructed and the only mark looks to be a paint mark rub on the back panel at the top 1 inch long. The legs at the bottom shows wear. I have taken a picture of the legs. The coils are tight and solid. All spindle backs are tight and in excellent condition. The arms do not show any wear. The cushions are original and can be removed. Each has a zipper for removal. Magnificent 50s Mid Century Modern 9' Long Low Chocolate Brown Upholstered Sofa
This is a fabulous formal sofa from the 50s. This sofa has its original soft fabric. The color is a chocolate brown. The sofa has 2 seat cushions, 4 back cushions and 3 pillows. It has 8 wood legs with little wheels on the bottoms. It measures 9" long, 28" tall and 33-3/4" deep. The sofa has a heavy solid woodframe and is quite sturdy, the quality is top of the line. It is in excellent condition. On close inspection there are a few light spots and I found a couple of snags or abrasions to the fabric on edges. These flaws are not noticeable or outstanding, the sofa has been well cared for over its 60+ years. This sofa comes from a non smoking and pet free home, it is clean and ready to use. Here is a mid century gondola sofa in the manner of ADRIAN PEARSALL. It has classic 50 styling with a very deep seating area that makes it super comfortable. It measures 93 inches wide by 32 inches deep by 30 inches tall. The seating height is 15 inches and the sofa is very supportive and comfortable. The fabric is actually in decent shape and is you like bright flame fur this is for you just as it is. It has no stains of smells but the fabric is loose at the bottom back, all it will need is to be re-stapled. This sofa is Sold AS-IS, could be a candidate for re-upholstery or with a light cleaning used as is. This is for pick up only but I can help arrange shipping by a freight company.

Rare 1950's Chesterfield Tufted Sofa Black Walnut Mid Century Modern
This is a beautiful Chesterfield sofa with walunt beveled edge frame. It is in Black and likely Naugahyde. The condition is good but is missng two buttons on the back and all but one button on the seat cushion. There is also ripping on the bottom of the seat cushion and a few small rips on the right end panel. It was in a livingroom with smokers so it does have cirgarette odor. This is an absolutely amazing sofa/ couch by Troy Sunshade. Thanks to a great ebayer we have just discovered that this sofa is part of a line called cymbal designed by John Van Koert. It seems that this line was put into production in the late 50's. It has an aluminum frame with far east inspired scroll work. The metal has been painted/ lacquered in a red and gold gilt style. We had it recovered in a red fabric with small multicolored dots that pick up and highlight the chairs design. It measures approximately 82" long x 26" deep x 30" tall and from floor to the top of the cushion it's 17" The paint/ lacquer does have some wear especially on the arms. With only a few scratches due to normal wear, with exception of the armrests that have a scratching mark on each of them, of about one inch where the hands rest(years ago I had a cat and she was very friendly with the corners of the armrests) but other than that, the frame is super solid wood. No wobbly parts, and no missing or broken parts. My guess is that the armsrest corners can probably be refinished. It might need new cushions cause the ones that come with it are very soiled. But they're still included with the loveseat. It was purchased about 7 years ago for about $700 in a second hand local store that only sells mid century furniture. But I'm not sure what brand is it. This is a beautiful vintage Danish modern 2 piece sofa/ settee. The sofa looks to have beautiful teak or walnut hardwood. I am not sure of the which the wood is. But it is pretty and hard. The tag says made for CHARLES. NEW YORK. The sofa is being sold as-is. The fabric is a light tweed that will have to be replaced because of fading/stains. The cushions are made of hog hair and horse hair and are very heavy. The sofa itself needs minor repairs that would be done with reupholstering. There is one leg that broke off. But just needs a new dowel glued in. There is some give on the backside of both sofas where the armrest is. Also the armrests have just a little give to them. The back of the sofa is sturdy if you push on it from the front. I am not sure, but would guess this can be fixed/ tightened when the fabric is off. Vintage Mid Century Modern Eames Era Adrian Pearsall Sofa Couch FULLY RESTORED
This auction is for a beautiful Danish Modern Adrian Pearsall Mid Century Modern Eames Era couch I have had FULLY RESTORED– designer fabric. New heavy industrial foam and body padding, new webbing, new decking, new foam cushions, two new pillar foam end pillar bolt cushion pillows, new chrome cushion clips and I had the strings re-tightened. It is a breathtaking piece of furniture. The original under frame is still in place. I purchased it several months ago, had it fully restored, received it last month and now found out I am being transferred. The furnishings I am taking with me have to be limited and this is one of the pieces I have to sadly let go. It is gorgeous. There are no labels on it. It is IMMACULATE and has been freshly reupholstered with the most gorgeous celery green woven fabric with a designer‘circle and dot’ accent fabric ... morethat is second to none spectacular. I call it my“ Marlo Thomas/That Girl” look! Words cannot describe the colors of the accent fabric. The velvety‘circles’ are a jeweled turquoise color with a matching green celery“dot” inside(that matches the overall celery green woven fabric to a“T” the woven background inside the circle is a bit darker beige color than the lighter beige woven background. This fabric is carried over into the two pillar bolt cushions. The company that restored this couch is renowned in the area and did an EXPERT job. I am EXTREMELY picky and they truly surpassed even my expectations! It is a truly daring design. I wanted something‘light’ yet‘bold’ and I feel my goal was accomplished. Both fabrics are new and are currently available should you want to match other pieces of furniture in your home. This lovely couch measures approximately 93.5” across by 35.0” deep by 29.5” high(at the midpoint of the back rest’s highest part) At its widest points. For your consideration is a Fantastic Vintage Mid-Century Modern Sofa. With a Solid Walnut Frame and a Mustard Yellow Upholstery, very much in the style of Adrian Pearsall! It is in the exact condition shown. Clearly needing to be recovered, by the frame is very solid and the foam is even still nice. Needs to be re-strapped as you can see. The only damage to the frame that I can see, is that one side at the legs there is some minor separation where it is doweled in, should just be a clamp and glue job. This is shown in the closeup(last photo) The sofa is nice and stable as it sits however, does not feel weak or cheap, clearly very well built! This can also be reupholstered by our wonderful upholsterer for only $650 in your fabric. Or we can purchase fabric for you at your request. It sits well and is structurally sound. It is in good vintage condition with marks and wear consistent with age and use. No labels or maker's marks. It does have a metal Duncan Aviation emblem as pictured. This sofa was likely specified for Duncan's offices in the 70's by the local Thayer Coggin dealer and recovered in the 80's. The fabric is a mauve and light blue wool hopsack. Solid walnut plinth base has wear as pictured. But overall this sofa presents very well and is worthy of full restoration.
