The measurements are 38 inches tall. 53 inches long, 26 inches deep, and 19 inches from seat to floor. The weight is about 35 lbs. The large arm chair offers the same wonderful features as the settee. The measurements are 38 inches high, 25 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 17 inches from seat to floor. The weight is about 20 lbs. This is the only empire sofa I have had in 16 years with the solid mahogany back. So fine. Minor wear. A rear toe on the front left paw foot is chipped off but barely visible. A beautiful American Empire sofa/settee. Amazing carved mahogany details with olive green mohair upholstery. Measures approximately 64 inches long x 24 inches deep x 34 1/2 inches tall at the back. The round fluted crest rail has downturned curved ends on either side with acanthus leaf carvings above a smooth curved back. The front of the arms have carved cherries. Pears, oak leaves, acanthus leaves, and nuts framed by a cartouche of C scrolls. Feather design carving on legs with paw feet. Possibly made in New York. There is overall fading on the upholstery along with a worn spot on the back, a tear on the side, and the trim is loose in one section(see photos) Appraised at 2,300. A beautiful inlaid solid mahogany card or game table in the Baltimore serpentine style. The marquetry is elaborately executed with sand shaded shells. Bellflowers, twist, and string inlay. I believe this to be a centennial piece made in the nineteenth century. It is in remarkably good condition. With highly figured grain showing some natural color variation of the top. The finish is original with only the closed top surface enhanced. With a small surface sliver touch up 3/8 inch back from the top center front. It can only be detected on very close inspection. The table measures 36 inches wide. 17 inches deep, and 30 1/2 inches high. When open the top measures 36 inches by 34 inches. A beautiful. Sturdy, solid table that is priced to sell. This is a true demilune table with both the front and back profiles curved. The table top features a large, center inlay medallion of flowers and acanthus leaves with a smaller floral accent on each end. The top features a rosewood, with a gorgeous grain, inset in the mahogany. The top is skirted around the entire perimeter. The skirted section features detailed floral carvings on both the front and back profiled(the concave side as well as the convex side) The cabriole legs have carved acanthus accents at the mid sections as well as the feet. This is a striking, beautiful table! The table dates to around 1900. It is in very good antique condition. With cane backing and arms, and the original cushions. I am not sure what the cushions are made of as I have never opened them, but they are not plush and fluffy, rather more solid. The sofa and chair are supported by clawfoot bulbous feet. The cane is in good shape. As is the wood. The feet are solid. However, there are a couple of wood blocks at the corners that have come loose and have been glued back. Overall structure is very solid and sturdy. The three seat sofa measures 69 inches long. By 37 inches deep, by 32 inches high at the highest point. Each cushion on the sofa(three total) measures 20 1/2 inches. For total 61 1/2 sitting area. The two chairs are the same. The front Feet have hairy paws with carved Cornucopias above. The rail from above the left foot is all carved all the way up. Estate fresh piece from Coastal Maine. This is a period piece dating to around 1830 give or take. Measures 81" L. 31 1/2" Tall to tallest part of back, 25 1/2" Deep. You are looking at absolutely gorgeous. Unique, and one of its kind solid wood mahogany hand carved large sofa and loveseat with burgundy velour. Set is in estate/vintage condition(set is not new) no stains or tears to velour(very clean fabric’ surface) It comes from a non-smoke and very clean house. Set was purchased years ago and originally was from an old. High end Baltimore’ estate. I don’t know detailed history of this set. Local pick up only! If a buyer wants to ship it.
