Condition: Used Location: North Las Vegas, United States Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Bugundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. The flame Cuban or Honduran mahogany of which this piece is made is just beautiful. This is an old piece. Dating back to the early nineteenth century. The frame was expertly restored and refinished over ten years ago, so the piece is very sturdy and tight, the finish is excellent and has a wonderful patina. The rolled arms feature exuberantly-carved cornucopia. The lifelike hairy paw feet are complemented by carved acanthus leaves and feathers. Up for auction is a beautiful gooseneck sofa from the early 1900's. This one is especially nice because it has goose carved feet on the front and back of the sofa. The sofa was recovered. Sat in a formal living room and hardly ever used. The wood is either walnut or mahogany. The crest of the back of the sofa has round bead carvings. The goose or swan carving on the front arms is especially nice as well. This 19th century sofa is grand and elegant and features beautiful ornate carved shells. Scrolls, foliate and floral on the triple serpentine crest-rail, with a highly carved serpentine seat-rail,full covered arms with carved arm supports, demi-cabriole styled legs with the original casters intact on the front feet we believe this sofa to also have its rich original finish. This fine sofa measures a total length of 82 inches. Height from the floor to the highest portion of the back measures 44 inches, seat length measures 60 inches, seat depth of 21 inches and seat height to the floor measures 16 inches and this sofa weighs approximately 95 lbs. It is all wrapped in solid ... moremahogany, all carved around the entire frame, including the curved arms and the reverse curved fronts of the arms, and also on the carved skirt with the cabriole legs. It has a wine colored and beige fleur-de-lis upholstery, and has three foam cushioned seats that are extra deep for comfort. We believe it dates from the 1940s. The overall size is 85 inches long on the outside of the arms, and 72 inches on the inside. The depth is 26 inches deep, which is 2 to 3 inches deeper than normally. Antique Mahogany Sofa Table made in England
This is a very nice antique sofa table made in England. It has satinwood inlay to the front, back and top with flamed mahogany to the top. The drawers are solid wood with dovetail joints. The base has extra under carrage for support, and sits on regency style legs with the original brass castors to the feet. I would say it has had some small repairs but nothing major to to the table. The back is finished so it could go into a center of a room if needed. Measurements are 41 wide.20 deep,28 high and the two drop leafs are 11 each, so in total the table is 63 long. 11

Which are typical of the Art Deco period. The base of the suite features a brass-studded frame and below the suite descends onto decorative bun feet at the front and sabre legs to the rear. for sale a wonderful period piece. this is an antique mahogany slipper sofa or bustle bench some are called. it is very nice condition. It has new fabric which cost about 500 to put on. the back is tufted. it has great form and beauty. the front of the sofa is 42 inches at the widest part of the outside of the feet. it is 47 inches wide at the top at the widest portion of the part of the back that flares out. it is 32 inches tall at the tallest point and 26.5 inches tall in the middle. the seat is app. 17 inches deep. it sits 15 inches from the floor. it is very cozy and comfortable. it is in great antique condition. there are a few minor veneer chips, but no loose veneers. the finish is wonderful. i just cleaned it with liquid gold so it may look a bit shinny. i started to take pictures in my house, but it was dark where i had it, so i moved ... moreit outside for better lighting. it is solid and sturdy. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. good luck. ps. i am starting it for a lot less than i have in it. i did not realize how much it was going to cost to recover it.

A mahogany wood frame makes this solidly built piece really stand out with lots of carved details to the woods. Rope etched carving at the top of the back and plenty of draped carving along the bottom just under the seats. Fabric probably recently redone and no rips or tears or heavy wear.
