Fabulous vintage antique settee sofa French victorian style Fabulously ornate carved Light colored floral pattern fabric that has a sheen to it Back cushions are tufted Total length is approx 63" This is an estate piece and as such could benefit from an upholstery cleaning. I believe it to be an original but has been recovered at sometime in the past. It has a label attached underneath stating the fact but I could not determine the date. It is just STUNNING and so very Classic! There is inlaid wood between the tuffed back cushions. It has wooden casters. Something has rubbed against it and left a white mark on the back wood but I believe it could be rubbed or cleaned and gotten off. It is just beautiful and I hate to get rid of it but it needs a home where it will be appreciated for the high quality piece it is so check pictures and ask any questions before bidding. Entire length of chaise is 63" long and 37" at highest point and the arm rest is 21 1/2 inches tall. This chaise lounge is upholstered in a rose velvet that is is good condition with a few minor soil and wear marks. The chaise has some minor marks but is in very good condition overall. This is a lovingly used Victorian parlor seat being retired for a new era. The green color is stunningly vibrant. The fabric is velvety soft. The condition of the covering and accents is still in good condition. The chair was fortified with wood at the bottom to ensure nearly any weight person can experience the grandeur without worry of collapse. The roller wheels have been checked in the past several years with one needing a reinforced glue repair. The parlor seat was featured in a published children's book with multiple watercolor paintings throughout the pages of the story. This is a lovely settee set that my sister bought a few years ago It is Victorian in style. The fabric is the original fabric that the set was made with. And it is a faded black color. As you can see. The set consists of one sofa and 2 chairs. There are no markings or rips or tears on these pieces. I would think someone might. Want to reupholster all 3 pieces.
