It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. This Victorian style sofa. We believe was made around 1920, but could possibly be older. It is in excellent, sturdy condition, considering its age. 6 and 1/2 feet wide. 2 and a half feet deep, 34 inches tall from bottom of foot to top of crown. The intricate details are hand carved in the 3 front legs and ornate crown piece. We believe this is made of walnut. And has a walnut colored finish. There are some scratches to the finish, but all appear to be minor. certainly able to be sanded out if someone had a mind to refinish the wood. There does not appear to be any major damage at all. This is definitely not the original fabric. It has been lovingly reupholstered in this light denim colored fabric with off white rose print. The upholstery appears to be in great condition. I have not seen any holes or stains. The same fabric is under the cushions ... moreas well(see photo) It also includes two matching throw pillows of the same fabric. Also in great condition. This lot is an excellent condition antique Victoria couch. As the photo shows. This example is light oak. I am not expert enough to tell when this piece originated but I would guess late 1800s to early 1900s. It has been reupholstered at some point in time and is in excellent condition as the photo indicates. This is being offered on a local pick-up basis only. This antique original reproduction from the 1940's by Pelham. Shell and Leckie of Montgomery, Alabama has original stuffing, springs and fabric. The wood trim along the back has a slight crack and the seat has collapsed. The webbing has aged and came loose when sat on recently causing the collapse. This Victorian Cameo Heart Back Sofa is made of black walnut. Serpentined back with clusters of grape medallions above each of three crests. Center cameo is outlined in thumb molded walnut in an inverted heart design with rounded end. Carved floral carved ends extending to floral knees and whorl feet on casters. One back caster is missing. The upholstery is gold Chinoiserie brocade. It is 62" long and Circa 1850. It came to my Mother in 1987 and prior to that her Aunt owned it in Pennsylvania. This sofa/ couch was made in the Civil War era. 1820-1860) It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand carved walnut wood about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique(late 19th century) Victorian chaise chair/sofa. This is a stunning piece that features an ornate. Carved wood frame and tall cane back. The chaise is quite large, measuring 6 feet in length. The seating area is covered in a beautiful fabric with French, Neoclassical pattern. There are 8 legs which feature block and turned wood. Arched, carved wood stretchers attach in between each leg on the long sides. There are stretcher supports that also run under the chaise, but these are not decorative. The chaise has been painted white(not sure if it is original) It is in good antique condition. The paint is chipping/peeling. The cane in intact with a small worn area in the center. As expected, It is not as taut as it once was but it is not loose and is still attached. The frame is good with some"wiggle" ... moredo to its age. The fabric is probably vintage as it is in very good condition with no rips, stains, etc. There is nail head trim which is also older. This is a gorgeous,old chaise with beautiful lines and aged charm. This style has been replicated many times by such designers as Aiden Gray. This is the original! This is a fabulous accent piece! We acquired them 12 years ago. Clean and nice. Very comfortable. We believe these are about 100 years old. The end of the couches can be lowered to form some sort of a victorian day bed. Its not how we used them but that was the original design. For us it was just two nice couches. This is pick up only in the Chicago Suburb of Oak Park. Available is an authentic antique Victorian full sized sofa couch. It has been fully restored and reupholstered by Amish craftsmen. The upholstery is a heavy rich creamy ivory/white brocade with a satin finish. The carved wood I believe is rosewood. The seat cushion is one single removable cushion. The couch hasn't been used since it was reupholstered and restored. There is one flaw- a chip to the top of one of the flowers on the top left hand side of the couch. Please see the last photo. Antique Vintage Victorian Light Pink Sofa Couch Settee W Wood Cravings Of Roses
This beautiful piece is an antique settee with faded rose pink upholstery. Fabric shows wear but has no tears. Cushions still firm! Wood is in good condition with no major scratches and makes intricate wood flower carvings above the center part of the settee. Bottom sheet of black muslin is shredded on bottom(see pictures) but no structural damage at all. Comfortable and ready for pick up.
