Here on offer we have a good Victorian double drop end two seater sofa settee dating to the second half of the 20th century. This good sized sofa is complete with a deep buttoned upholstered and padded back with a soft sprung seat flanked by padded arm supports which can be lowered by using the hidden lever and is raised atop bun feet with castors. The sofa is in good order being solid in build and ready for use. This is an Antique Queen Anne Solid Dark Tone Wood with Red Velvet Upholstery Settee. 46 inches long. Had this looked at and was dated 1910- 1920. Wood used looks to be cherry. Upholstery was recovered in the mid 1970's with the red velvet. Settee was rarely sat in for the last 40 years. Was well taken care of and regularly cleaned. Could use new upholstery with the springs repositioned. Could also be used as shown. The wood finish at the top of the middle back of the backrest is worn(shown) Has some desired various worn finish marks throughout. I never used scratch remover on the wood. This is a fabulous piece that dates to the Mid Century(1950s- 1960s) The bench is a luxurious piece of fine quality. It features a French Provincial, Louis XVI style and form. The chair has a solid wood(no veneer) frame with fabric seat and removable arm cushions. The wood frame has a whitewashed finish in a cream, light tan color. It features carved/incised floral medallion accents at the tops of the legs as well as on the arms. The roll arm design is accomplished/accented with spindles. The legs are straight and tapered. The fabric is original. It is a minty green background color and is a flat weave. There is an abundant, textured(raised) iron scroll pattern in golden chenille. Here is a wonderful set of primitive doll furniture circa 1900. Includes a bed. A table, a chair, a bench, and a settee. It is made of small nailed together sticks. C.1880 Miniature Erhardt Antique Ormolu & Petit-Point Louis XV style Settee Set
This beautiful little miniature petit point or needle point. Gilt metal Settee set is a tiny replica of the Louis XV style furniture found in elaborate French salon suites of the early 19th century. My online research indicates it was probably made by Erhardt& Sonne in Germany about 1880. The set is in excellent condition. A treasure really. For its size it is quite heavy metal. The finish has been referred to by some as French Dore or gilded metal and is intricately embossed on all sides and bottoms. It has fine linen upholstery with fine embroidery. The tiny needlepoint seats and backs are a floral print with a pale green hue and expertly made. It has curved arms and cabriole legs. It has not been cleaned. This settee is in very good condition with a little dulling to the gilt in some places. Please zoom in on photos. We offer for your consideration a fantastic Victorian. Heavily carved oak settee or sofa. The carvings feature barley twist legs and supports, grape vines, and sparrows. Lush hunter green finial tassels accent the matching cushions, roped back rest cushions, and padded/upholstered foot bench. 64" long, 24" wide from back to end of dragon's head arm rests, and 52 1/2" tall at highest point of back carving. A genuine"Biedermeier" or Empire period sofa or day bed was hand crafted in Austria about 1835 and has locking jewelry boxes in both arms. Golden mahogany is inlaid with classical marquetry banding and designs in birch and walnut. The glossy old finish is in very fine condition with warm antique patina and just enough mars and wear for antique patina. The frame is strong and tight with hand cut dovetail joinery visible on the backside. This is a very usable and elegant piece. Comfortable for the era and newly upholstered. Antique Walnut Love Seat Settee Couch Tufted
This auction is for a really pretty antique victorian love seat/settee. I think the wood is walnut. The decoration across the top wood looks like nuts or fruit and flowers of some kind that is carved. The velvet material is a very pale reddish cranberry. The pictures are very true to the color. The back is tufted. The wood frame is sturdy. It measures about 59 inches long from the widest part of the wood frame on top. It stands about 34 inches tall to the top of the fruit. Beautiful Antique Eastlake Settee, Chair, Needlepoint Roses & Velvet Upholstery
Terrific antique Eastlake settee or wide chair that's perfect a side piece in a living or family room. It's carved with a vine design at top. And upholstered in needlepoint with complementary velvet. The ebonized wood(possibly walnut. Of which many of these were made) is in nice condition with some light surface wear in a few spots and minor nicks/chips on the bottom where the upholstery is attached. The only real condition issue is to the back of the carved. Decorative piece at the center/bottom; it has a good-sized chip and a smaller one, none of which can be seen from the front. The upholstery is in very good condition with just minor wear from age/use. But has no fading or holes. The roses on the seat are petit point, and the rest a larger needlepoint. I believe the needlepoint is original(it almost certainly dates to that time ... moreperiod or within 20-30 years) But the settee might have been re-upholstered along with newer velvet and trim at some point. The settee measures 32.5" high. 20.5" wide and is 32" long. Because of its size/weight. This is a very nice solid mahogany Victorian double ended chaise lounge made in England circa 1880. The frame is pretty solid and the fabric is also in pretty good condition. It sits on french style cabriole legs to either side on the back there are two balloon back style back rests. This could sit in the center of a room because its finished round the back.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique settee/chair. This piece has gorgeous lines and features a wooden frame with ornately carved floral details in the French. Louis XVI style. The frame is whitewashed and is paired with a gold striped velvety fabric. The gold does pull a light green in certain lighting so there is a greenish element to the gold. The chair is antique to older vintage and is from the early half of the 20th century. It is rounded in shape with a curved/arched back. The chair has a removable cushion(not attached to the chair) It is stuffed with a combination of feathers and batting. The cushion is very full and comfortable to sit on. The chair has had a custom slip cover made for it at some point. The cover is a heavy cotton and has zippers located on the back of the cover and on the cushion. It has finished details ... moresuch as piping and ruffles. It hides the wooden frame but it is custom made for the chair and therefore I am including it with the chair. The original fabric is in very good condition with only minor signs of age/wear. There are no rips, tears, etc. The wood is also good with a"chippy" appearance that adds to the aged character. The frame is in good condition for its age. There are some minor cracks which are not severe and can be corrected if you so desire. The chair is sturdy but, because of its age, it is not a piece that is meant for everyday or heavy use. It is a lovely accent chair with elegant and graceful lines and details. I am guessing that the slipcover is about 40 years old(based on the stitching and the zipper style) It is in very good condition but it does need to be hand washed as it does have some soiling around the bottom where it has touched the floor. I would recommend hand washing and would hang it up to dry(no machine wash or dry) just to be on the safe side. Please note that this listing is for 1 chair and slipcover. However. We do have the identical chair and another slipcover available should you want a pair. The chair measures 45.5" wide.

The gilt finish has faded to a soft matte gold and is beautifully paired with the grayish green cut velvet upholstery. The upholstery features a classic French floral design. We are offering a Antique Chippendale Chair and Settee. This set was given to my Great Aunt by the Hillman family of Los Angeles. For whom she worked in Insurance, many years ago and my mother re-appolstered the set at least 30 years ago. The chair is sturdy, all joints feel secure. They both have some bumps and scratches, although for the age, do not detract from the great look and I believe many would'disappear' with wood conditioning, but I am not a wood professional. The Settee has one arm that has come loose in travel to my home and I believe could be repaired without any harm done to the quality of the piece. Arms and highly carved hairy paw feet, even in the back. The upholstery is a leppord print which has been on the settee for about 30 years. It is slightly faded but in very good condition, no rips, soil spots or worn spots. The definition, proportion and exaggerated curves and detail make this piece really stand out and the upholstery helps. C. 1840 Item# 1403ITR22PP This austere and attractive form is distinctly influenced by designs from England and France during the first quarter of the 19th Century. This form known as a"Box Sofa" coming into fashion towards the end of the first quarter of the 19th Century in New York City. It is elegant and free of embellishment, every aspect of it speaking strength. The arms are raised on thick solid mahogany panels, the center faced with banded mahogany veneers such that both arms oppose one another. The frame and crest rail is plain and undistracted, utilizing beautifully grained solid mahogany to lend elegance and beauty t o the space. The apron is a series of matched ... moreveneers; oxidization and sun distract from what was originally a nearly seamless flow from one panel to the next. A characteristic that could be brought back by a talented finisher. The sofa rests over complex feet with a series of ring turnings over robust reeded balusters.
