Each end also offers curved crest rails. All three sections have beautifully tufted backs. Open padded arms lead to wonderfully carved hand rest with with incised carving and large drop finials. A shaped seat rail is supported by four turned legs and original brass capped casters. This fantastic sofa does have an old repair to one end which appears to be very sturdy and secure and one rosette at the left end of the sofa has some inlay loss. Thank goodness the repair is there or by today's standards it would have been in the dump and we would have lost this wonderful piece of art~just my opinion. The vintage cream colored fabric does show some ware on one corner and arm and needs a gentle cleaning. Please look closely and enlarge the pictures as all the detail cannot be shown in 12. Measurements: 45 inches high 68 inches long 33 inches deep 18 floor to seat weight 35 lbs. The matching chair features the same beautifully carved crest drop finials and turned legs. ANTIQUE BLUE CUT VELVET UPHOLSTERED CAMEL BACK SOFA - QUEEN ANNE CARVED LEGS
Comfortable antique sofa has camel back and button-tufted arms. Two loose seat cushions can be flipped. Upholstery is a beautiful deep shade of blue velvety plush fabric with a cut design of diamond shapes. And was professionally done, though not recently. The legs and lower framework are carved with a shell motif, and the wood appears to be walnut. 73 1/2" long, 35" high at the back, and the seat cushions are about 22" deep. A nice vintage piece to enhance your antique décor!

Beautiful antique Duncan Phyfe Couch. couch is in excellant condition having no tears or marks on the fabric. While the wood is in great condition as well. All four feet have metal claws. It appears to me to be the original fabric never being recovered and there is some evidence of fading but its hard to see, couch was taken care of nicely and doesn't appear to used hard. it is available for local pickup only unless the buyer would be willing to deal with the necessary shipping.

This is a solid mahogany federal- or regency-style early sofa with a detailed claw foot and carved legs that probably dates from the 1840s ... moreor‘50s era. With solid Mahogany construction. It was upholstered a long time ago in a dark cranberry fabric, that still looks to be tear-free and is probably very usable for most people. The springs are a bit used where they are starting to bounce back up after having been tied down. It has solid construction on the back plate with deep carved grooves in the center, which is very unusual. It has scrolled solid mahogany arms, coming down into a flame mahogany and satinwood banded frame box that follows the beautiful flame mahogany skirt. On the bottom it has an eagle head carved with a drape in its mouth, fruits and berries, and a big bold carved foot on the base. The back also has claw feet. The overall size is 96 inches long on the outside, and 6 feet long on the inside, 24 inches deep back to front, 39 inches high to the back, 33 inches high to the arm, and 18 inches high to the seat. French Louis XV Style Antique Settee Sofa Canape, Carved, Gilded & Painted
French Louis XV Style Carved and Painted Antique Settee Early 20th Century Item# 130008SIU26 A very attractive antique settee of the French Louis XV taste. This is a lovely piece that exhibits all typical elements of the Rococo movement, but clearly with an angularity that speaks of influence from the Art Deco movement. The frame of the antique French settee is painted in a tarnished silver, this delightfully worn away in well used areas, resulting in a nice growing patina throughout. Resting over the trapezoidal seat back. The crest is carved of the solid with several roses that flow outward into the molded frame with foliage, flanked only by pyramid finials draped in acanthus leafage at each corner. These vary in detail, some parts of the finials being of incredible depth and multiple layers of acanthus, while others are somewhat blurry- ... morethis is likely accounted for by overpainting at one point, where too much paint was used and resulted in a"blurring" of what is likely very fine detail beneath the paint. The arms bend out around the round seat in a highly circular movement, the handholds carved with scaled embellishments along the grip and down the arm support, the paint on these somewhat worn away to reveal the(presumably) beech frame beneath. The legs have robust acanthus leafage flowing from the knee along the frame as they join the seat. Each foot terminating in scrolled toes in the Louis XV manner. For anyone passionate about the Louis XV style in antique seating furniture. This is a simply lovely antique settee to be actively enjoyed. The upholstery should be replaced in our opinion, though it does seem relatively free of stains. Check our inventory to see if we still have the matching pair of antique fauteuils available, as they being catalogued separately from the settee. This is a really gorgeous brown walnut with black inlay incise carved Victorian sofa that dates from the 1870s or'80s. It has a fantastic center crest right in the middle. Along with incise carved panels and a clamshell notch carved on top. The sofa is all solid walnut, carved throughout, including the bulbous legs, the skirts, the arms, and the back legs and side pieces. It comes beutifully covered in an equestrian style motif, which is actually in outstanding condition with only a few minor wear marks, and looks amazing against the walnut. For your consideration is a antique walnut parlor sofa. This piece measures in at approx. 6 foot 2 inches in length and at it's highest point in the center back is approx. 3 foot high. The piece is believed to be made of walnut and the estate's grand daughter believes the piece was in the family since the late 1850's- 1860's. The upholstery is very old and is unknown if original or not but it does have the right style for the era. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique(late 19th century) chaise chair/sofa. This is a stunning piece that features an ornate. French Nouveau carved wood frame and tall cane back. The chaise is quite large, measuring 6 feet in length. The seating area is covered in a beautiful fabric with French styling. There are 8 legs which feature block and turned wood. Arched, carved wood stretchers attach in between each leg on the long sides. There are stretcher supports that also run under the chaise, but these are not decorative. The chaise has been painted white(not sure if it is original) It is in good antique condition. The paint is chipping/peeling. The cane in intact with a small worn area in the center. As expected, It is not as taut as it once was but it is not loose and is still attached. The frame is good with some"wiggle" ... moredo to its age. This can be resolved. This is an amazing antique sofa recently reupholstered in silver velvet. We estimate it to be maybe 100 years old or more. It was an amazing find at an estate sale. We had it completely reupholstered. Including the three pillows with striped silk and gold edging. This sofa is very massive and heavy. It probably weighs around 200-300 pounds. Structurally very solid. Not wobbly or unsteady. Built to last! We would keep it but we are moving to a smaller place and it simply won't fit. Check the dimensions! Much larger than today's furniture. 90" wide. 42" high, 40" deep. In our last house we had to remove a window to get it in and out. Transportation will be up to you.

Antique Couch Sofa Settee Carved Wood Ornate BEAUTIFUL!
This was bought at an estate sale in Virginia. I know little about it but was told by the seller that it is from the 1800s. That's not verified. It's really lovely and with updated upholstery it would be gorgeous. The upholstery is in good shape except for the arm where the binding is loose. There are 2 spots where the wood is marred but otherwise looks good to me.very ornate. Casters on front legs. The bottom lining is a bit loose and burlap is visible under the lining.
