One arm, and 2 side chairs. they are ... morenewly recovered with a gorgeous soft pink fabric that is nicely tufted. i said newly, the fabric may be a few years old but it is in new condition. i am not for sure what the fabric may be. i bought this set from a wealthy estate and it is possible that it is silk, but i can not be for sure. at any rate, it is a very fine fabric. there are no damages to the set as far as i can tell, save one of the casters on the sofa kept falling out so i put a dowel in the hole, glued it and redrilled it for the caster. other than that i know of no damage or repairs to the set. it is very sturdy with no wiggles or wobbles etc. the backs of the chairs are all nicely laminated. my pictures are not very good as the lighting where i have this set is poor. the entire set of course is pierced carved in the finest fashion. the detail on this set is as good as i have ever seen in stanton hall. the finish is wonderful, however, my pictures are dull and that is not the true state of the finish. also the color of the wood and fabric is not exact by along shot. i will take the arm chairs outside tomorrow and get some pictures in the sunlight. the room they are in is inside the middle of my house and there are no windows there. anyway, i can get some much more accurate photos of the finish and colors of the wood and fabric and should anyone care to see them i will be more than happy to send them to you. also if there is anything else you want to see close up of, please ask and i will supply them as well. the legs are nicely carved, fluted, and contoured which does not show well in the pictures, nor does the carving in the center of the front of the seat support show very well. it is i promise you a very wonderful set. i am starting it at a money back price or less. i see a three piece set on ebay for 55K and 2 side chairs for 20K. the sofa is 66 inches wide, 49 inches tall, and the seat is

It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. This Canape Imperial is over 100 years old and is 2.15 meters long or 2.35 yards. We were told it is Rosewood(Pau Santo) and we originally found it in the attic of a building that was falling apart. Someone had covered the original caning with fabric and when we looked underneath you could see the original caning still there full of holes. We had it restored 30 years ago to it's original state. Unfortunately. It has powder post beetle damage and that has affected the caning. If it wasn't for that, the piece would be in perfect condition. The hand carving is absolutely gorgeous. A very finely carved antique. Circa 1890's, solid mahogany, dynamic shaped, French Empire style enclosed sofa. The front and back feet are carved claw on bun feet, the legs with carved stiff feathered wings. The skirt is carved as acanthus rosettes entwined. The arm supports are carved as stiff curving acanthus leaf, the terminal as an eagle head having acanthus neck. The back rest is carved as a swag of laurel and berry cross bound with ribbons. The fine modern fabric is a golden color with scrolling floral pattern. Sofa measures 80" wide by 46" tall by 29-1/2" deep. The seat proper measures 65" by 22" the surface of the seat 18" from the floor. Excellent condition: original dark red-brown unworn finish, no chips or cracks. The fabric is without soiling, fading, or wear.

High Back Ornately Carved Antique Settee/Bedroom Sofa
This is a very nice bedroom sized sofa and I think the nicest I have ever had. The carving to the wood on not just the center but the two sides and the way it is a high back really attracted me to it. It measures a bit too big to go Greyhound Express but maybe a shop visitor from somewhat local Northeast will spot it. You are bidding on a complete set of antique parlor furniture. It is Victorian French Louis style made of carved pecan wood. It includes Settee(sofa) Two arm chairs. And two very decorative side chairs. All are upholstered in pale pink silk noted in photos. Very unique feathered carving on arms and ribboned carvings across tops of all 5 pieces. Wood is a lovely lighter shade. Some restoration(glue) of leg bases suggested although not immediately necessary on 2-3 of chairs and two pieces have fabric that has begun to fray in front of seat only. Antique furniture parts curved sofa, chair ottoman legs solid carved hard wood
These legs came off an antique camel back brocade sofa from the 1930's(or earlier) that I purchased at estate auction yrs ago. It was a very well constructed piece of furniture with hand tied springs. A heavy hard wood frame, and horse hair for the first layer of padding. When I retired it for good. I salvaged these front legs. The back"legs" were actually part of the frame itself, or else I would have saved them as well. They have the original finish on them except for where I used a little denatured alcohol to help identify the wood. I am not positive. But my best guess is that they are mahogany or maybe cherry. They are NOT identical! That was never noticeable when they were on my couch- only when I put them side by side to measure. Upon doing my research. I found out that this style of carving is very complex and can only ... morebe done with one solid piece of wood so it's actually not unusual for them not to be exact duplicates. Original four factory wood screws included- they are flat(square) head- another clue that they are old. Cross head screws weren't used until the later 1930's and after. Measurements: Right leg: 3.5" all 4 sides at the top where it fastens. 6" high. 2.25" across; 2" front to back at the bottom where it rests on the floor(foot pad) Left leg: 3 sides at 3.5" and the back side is 3" across at the top. 6" high. 2 1/16" across; 2" front to back at the bottom(foot pad) You can't go to Lowes and buy these!

It has been reupholstered in a cream color fabric, the back rest tufted. Nicely refinished. It measures 3'11" 47" tall by 5'10" 70" wide by 2'6" 30" deep, the seat 22" deep. Very good plus condition: solid construction, front casters, fabric without wear or stains. The bottom of both back legs have been cut down 1-1/2" and replaced back with walnut, probably caused by original caster damage(see photo.

Listed is a 5 piece set of hand carved couch feet. The front 3 pieces are 3" in height. The back two are 2 3/4" The front 2 corners have 7" right angles and the middle piece is 11 1/2" The back 2 feet are 7" long. There are chips. Cracks and gouges but all in all fairly good shape. All need to be re-doweled. Not sure but I think this is walnut or yellow pine.

A very nice antique. Circa 1860's, Rococo Revival serpentine mahogany sofa settee. The crest is carved acanthus leaf scrolls. The front arm rest supports are scroll carved, the skirt above the front spade feet with a rectangular leaf rosette. It has been reupholstered with a golden yellow silky floral fabric. Settee measures 3'9" 45" tall by 7'2" 86" wide by 2'6" 30" deep, the seat 21" deep. Excellent condition: original finish to mahogany, no chips or cracks, minor finish scratches to backrest frame. This couch has not been refurbished. It is in the original factor sold condition and has not been polished yet either. As found in the estate. Sold as bought. The wood shape is amazing on both Eagle heads and on the back board flags and badge. The wood color is great and after polish should be amazing. The couch measures over 80" long and 34 1/2" tall at its tallest point. The rope work on the bottom has some missing/ broken of(DEPICTED) make sure you see this before bidding. With a little searching you can get a good match or just sculpt your own out of compound. The fabric is complete and un ripped as well. An English Tudor 1920's era sofa or hall table does double duty- flipping the top opens the table to buffet or dining size. The finish is in gorgeous shabby chic primitive condition. Grandly detailed. The strong trestle base of this American made antique furniture is bold and substantial. The patina that you see is what has naturally occurred over the years from being painted different colors. I sanded the table and this is what was found underneath. Circa 1860 Antique Victorian Hand Carved Reupholstered Sofa
A very beautiful scalloped back 1860's Victorian sofa! The hand carved apron really sets this sofa off with pretty scrolls. Shells and feathers detailing. What an eye-catching design! There is a small piece of the wood missing from the apron and you can see this best in the fourth photo. The piece was reupholstered at some point in time with a cheery floral pattern. There is a small area of the fabric at the back top corner that has loose piping(please see the last photo) It could easily be glued down. There are white smudges on some of the wood trim. 1930's Antique Parlor Set Chair Sofa/Couch Carved Dark Walnut Tufted Buttons
An outstanding 2 piece parlor set. Picked them up at auction here in Upstate New York. Believed to be from the 1930's. Heavily carved dark walnut with spectacular upholstery. Sofa measures 77" long. 33" deep and 33.5" tall at it's tallest point. Chair measures 30" wide, 30" deep and 33" tall. Both pieces need the seems sewed on the cushions unless you flip them. I am not a seamstress so I'll leave that up to the buyer. Outside if that. I would recommend a cleaning of the upholstery as I would with any items this old to bring back the amazing luster. Will help buyer arrange freight shipping via a white gloves service which comes to my home. Packages both pieces and delivers them to your door just like movers would.
