A Child's Vintage "Grain" Sewing Machine - 1950's
A toy sewing machine in very good collectable condition. Apparently the"Grain" was one of the most successful toy sewing machines of the 1950's. Measurements of base: 8" x 5" Height: 8" I always obtain Certificate of Posting but in he case of higher value items will send either by Recorded Delivery or International Signed For. In quoting postage charges I hope to cover the cost of packing materials- bubble wrap. Polystyrene pellets, boxes, brown paper, etc. don’t come cheap. Unusual 1950's Childs Electric Singer Sewing Machine Wheel Drive Original Case
You are bidding on a 1950's Childs Electric Singer Sewing Machine with Wheel Drive and Original Case. After looking at hundreds of completed and current auctions on Ebay I fail to find a childs sewing machine that has a drive mechanism like this one. A wheel friction drive built inside the case with a switch to turn on the drive wheel and another switch to engage the drive wheel. This is truly an unusually different machine. The Machine in crinkle tan with the Singer Emblem is in very nice condition and runs well. The Blue and White Case with working latch. Hinges. Handle, and intact rubber feet, the case covering shows some signs of wear. Its measurements are; 13" x 9 1/2" x 5" Included in the case is an attachable manual crank handle. I have not tried to clean this unit as I will leave that up tothe experts. Vintage 1950's -60's Chrome Whiskey Barrel Bar Set & Federal Glass Shot Glass
Offered for bid is a great vintage 1950's- 1960's chrome whiskey barrel& mug shot glass set in very nice original condition. Its mirror chrome finish is beautiful with no denting however there are only a few light scratches with one noticeable one at its front and back side with some tapping area wear to left side of its spigot although the balance of the chrome barrel remains in nicely preserved condition. The mug style shot glasses were made by Federal Glass Company and have a shield with a"F" mark to its underside. It appears that the set was responsibly used and its shot glasses have gold trim top wear to them. Barrel measures 7-1/8" wide by 7- 1/2" deep with spout and 7- 1/2" inches in height with its black bakelite filler top. Buyer pays 13.65 shipping to any lower 48. Vintage Aircraft Directional Gyro (1950's?)
Built by Sperry Gyroscope Co. This is about 7 1/2" tall and 6" in dia. There is a tag on the back that reads Control Slaved Directional Gyro. All of the inner workings are nic and visible Here's what someone who knows waaaay more about these things than I do had to say about it. What you have looks to be a Pitch Gyro. A component of an A-12 autopilot system from the 1950's. It would be placed remotely somewhere in the aircraft distally from any armor or magnetic systems which could effect its accuracy. It conveyed the pitch of the aircraft during flight to a central amplifier then to remote indicators(dials) on the instrument panels of the pilot and navigator, and helped the autopilot system maintain attitude and course. It essentially helped perform the job of the older horizon indicators which simply informed the pilot ... moreof the aircraft attitude and the pilot reacted accordingly. The cool feature of this one is its clear housing as opposed to solid metal housing. Speaking of the clear top. If you look at this from above you can see the internal com pass ring with the 360 degree markings on it. Pardon the flash on the photo taken from above. Two Summer Blouse Patterns. Both are Size 14. Could have been mail order patterns because, no envelopes, just instructions. The first is a Patt-O-Rama pattern 8393. Copyright 1956, bust 32, waist 26, and it is for a halter style summer top in three different styles. It is an unlined pattern that may have been used but all pieces are accounted for. The instruction sheet which serves as a cover has some tears and wear but all is readable and useable. Second pattern has no identification as to what company made pattern. Not dated. Maybe 1960's, only identifaction is"Printed Pattern" 4885, Size 14, Bust 34, and Waist 26. Pattern is for a sleeveless blouse, button front, and three different styles of neck. Instruction sheet serves as pattern cover but this cover is in pretty good condition with minor wear and tear. It measures 48" wide tire edge to tire edge by 35" tall from the ground to the top of the handle bars. The bicycle needs to be completely restored as the chrome and the frame is rusty. Dented, and worn- the seat is made by Schwinn- the pedals may not be original(see photos) I will disassemble the bicycle for shipping and will ship it by Greyhound- it will have to be picked up at your local Greyhound Station- I will ship it another way but it will be considerably more expensive to ship- can be picked up for free.

Vintage Case Tractor Farm Intercom System 1950's Excellent Unusual! ORANGE
I've never seen anything like this anyplace. Has to be pretty rare. The newspaper it was wrapped in was from 1959 so it's older than that. Excellent condition. Has a few scratches and marks but not bad at all. SUPER bright Case orange paint. Cool Case Farm Intercom System logos on each piece. One is cracked on a speaker, you can hardly tell. Seems to be in working order but I was home alone so it was hard to hear on the remote speakers. Couldn't be in two places at once. The main base is 9" by 5 1/2" and 7" tall. The remotes are 5 1/2" by 4" and 5 1/2" high. What a great Case display item. Super item.

At 17 years of age, he became the Newark Eagles' second basemen. Doby joined the United States Navy during World War II. His military service complete, Doby returned to baseball in 1946, and along with teammate Monte Irvin, helped the Eagles win the Negro League World Series.
