Lot of 3 vintage milk glass candy or nut dishes/bowls in very good condition. They would also make nice low vases or planters for wedding decor. Showers or parties. Makers are unknown. The 3 legged round bowl has a diamond point pattern and scalloped rim. It is 5" across and 3" tall. It has a small nick/rough area on the inside rim that is approximately 1/8" long. The top hat has a daisy and button pattern and is 3-1/4" tall& 4.5" across the top. The piece with the sawtooth rim has a star of David design. It is 2.75" tall and 6.25" across the top. Vintage Lenox Set of Matching Vases and Trinket Box, Lenox Rose
Very attractive set in Lenox Rose. A pattern initiated in 1934 and discontinued in 1979. The provenance for this particular set establishes a purchase in 1940- 1950. It was found on a ladies' dressing table in an estate sale. The vases measure 8 inches in height; the box is 5 inches long. The vases could be used either for flowers or make-up pencils. I think these two vases are Rumrill. But I am not 100% sure. Only says B5 on bottom. Vases are 4.75" tall and 3" wide at the top opening. They are sturdy, solid, heavy pieces. approximate measurements: 6 1/4 inches tall 3 3/4 inches wide 3 1/8 inches front to back Overall. These vases are in wonderful condition—and I’ve included lots of photos to show this. I’m going to be very nitpicky, though, and point out a couple of areas that I noticed upon close examination of the vases: One vase has a small rough area on the rim(photo#10)a fleabite or a manufacturing defect—I’m not sure which. This same vase has a small area at the base that I initially thought might be a tiny chip(photo#11)but ... moreupon closer examination. It looks to be glazed, so I believe it’s a small spot that escaped painting during production. Likewise. There is a small rough-feeling area on the bottom edge of the base of the second vase(photo#12) but, again, upon closer examination, it is glazed over, so I don’t believe it is a chip. They were made sometime during the latter part of the 1800's. They have an absolutely beautiful form. They have a bulbrous bottom with a slim neck that extends upward into a floral shape Jack-in-the-Pulpit top. They have handapinted flowers with etched leaves on the floral top and the bulbrous bottom. There is a pontil mark on the bottom of both. There are slight differences in the Vases. The one on the left stands 6-7/8" tall and the one on the right stands 7" tall. The one on the right has a slight panel appearance while the one on the left does not. The etching and flowers are not faded. Both Vases are in excellent condition with no chips. Nicks, or cracks. The ... morelight spots are due to light reflection. Bid with confidence. The tall one has what I guess I would call a tiny nick, it looks like there was an imperfection in the finish and it got knocked off probably by someone rubbing it with their finger nail. Vintage 1949 Bone China Woodpecker Design Vases(2) From Czechoslovakia This sale is for a Rare are& Beautiful set of Two. Vintage Bone China Woodpecker vases, made in Czechoslovakia in 1949. Each vase is 5½" tall with attached ¾” handles on either side. The vase is 2” in diameter at the top and widens to 2¾” in diameter at the base. The outside is Beige in color. Fading to Brown at the top and base. The front of each vase has a gorgeous Transfer, featuring( 2) Woodpeckers. Facing each other, sitting atop a branch. The Reds, Greens and browns are still colorful and the transfer is still perfect after( 64) years. These vases were originally sold in sets with an“ A” vase and a“ B” vase. On the underside of each piece is a ½” diameter Red Circle. Inside the circle is the working. Also in red“ Made in Czecho Slovakia" ... moreOne vase as the“ A” stamp and the other has the“ B” stamp. You can find these on occasion for about $40.00 each. But it is very rare to find an A& B set together. This set is in WONDERFUL condition given their age. There are NO scratches. Vintage Hand- Blown Cobalt Blue / Clear Crystal Glass twisted StemTrumpet Vases
This is a pair of very pretty hand-blown bud vases with cobalt blue cores and twisted vertical ribbed stems. Trumpeting out to a handkerchief rim. The feet are polished clear crystal. Please note that t he colour is a deep cobalt blue which has been difficult to capture in the photographs. The vases are approx. 17cm tall and 7cm at the widest point.The bases are 6cm. Together they weigh 460g. T hese eye-catching vintage vases are in lovely condition with no cracks. Chips or nibbles, simply a few tiny unobtrusive and barely noticeable scratches and scuffs, commensurate with age. Stunning Vintage Controlled Bubble Blown Glass Bookend-Vases by Carl Erickson
Pair of ERICKSON Controlled Bubble VASE- BOOKENDS Erickson Glass was all hand blown glass by Carl Erickson in Bremen. Ohio and was produced from 1949 thru 1961. He is attributed with having developed the"controlled bubble" technique used to create these beautiful bookend-vases. These are clear glass with rows of large bubbles and is made of 1/2" thick glass with a clear 1" thick base. These are very heavy at about 9 pounds combined. Each vase/bookend is 6 3/4" tall and is 2 1/4" in diameter at the rim. The base of each is 5" by 3 1/2" and the back of the vases are flat to be used as bookends. One piece has a shallow chip flake on the inner rim of the top. It is not readily noticeable but you will know it's there. See the fourth picture. Close up of piece on the right at one o'clock. STUNNING SET OF 2 LARGE RETRO BIRD VASES! Up for auction is this stunning pair of two large vintage black peacock or swan vases! These are really gorgeous with a lot of detail in the moulding! They are made from ceramic which has been finished in a glossy black glaze. They are unmarked so I am not entirely sure of their exact age but we have had them over 40 years. 7 PIECES OF VINTAGE MILK GLASS VASES & CANDLE HOLDERS NICE FOR WEDDING OR HOME
This auction is for seven nice pieces of vintage milk glass. There are four bud vases. A block pattern one by E.O Brody, two fluted rib ones from CLG CO. and a star pattern by Anchor Hocking. All are about 8 3/4" tall and 2 1/2" across. The flower vase with the hobnail and spearpoint pattern is probably by Hocking and measures 7" tall and 4" across the scalloped rim. The hobnail candle holder is Fenton but is unmarked. It measure 3 1/2" tall and 4 3/4" across the base and the finger candle holder is unmarked and I don't know the maker. It measures 4 3/4" tall and 4" across the base. All are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. They will weigh 6 1/2 pounds very well packed. TWO VINTAGE L.E. SMITH BLACK AMETHYST VASES#433 AND#102 This listing is for a nice vintage pair of L.E. Smith Black Amethyst Glass vases. You get both the#433(Dancing Nymphs) and#102(2 Handled. 3 Silver band) vases. The#433 was made from 1932 to 1938, and again from 1952 to 1958. It measures 7 1/8 inches tall on a 2 1/2 inch square base. It has a small flake on a base corner, and a tiny nick on a handle edge. The#102 was made from 1933 to 1938. It measures 6 3/8 inches tall, and 4 1/2 inches at widest point. The silver is weak at the rim and in spots on the three bands. It has a small rough spot on the outside seam edge, but no nicks or chips. Both have a very nice luster! Not all that easy to find vases! Thank you for looking! Please pay within 8 days. Three Vintage Ornate Hand Painted Swan Vases(JAPAN) Outstanding Like-New Condition– No Damage Up for auction from the original owner. Purchased in Japan in 1951 or 1952, is a gorgeous set of hand painted, very ornate and detailed, swan vases in outstanding like-new condition, free of chips, cracks, stains or any discoloration. Note the 3-dimensional pink roses on both sides of the white swans, along the vase bases, and on the heads of each swan, with a lot of gold trim and green leaves. The largest vase is about 6 by 8 inches, another is about 5 by 6 ½ inches, and the smallest one is about 5 ½ by 4 inches. All three are stamped“JAPAN” on the bottom.
