The contract would run through 1913, and Russell would retain the originals. January 1910 Brown& Bigelow purchases the rights to six of Russell’s paintings that year. The W. T. Ridgley Company sells many reproductions of the artist’s work. W.T. Ridgley was a great friend of CMR’s and did most of his printing from the start. Pair of Beautiful Vintage Framed Japanese Black and White Wood Block Prints
A wonderful pair of nicely framed vintage black and white woodblock prints from Japan depicting two diverse Japanese scenes: 1. Itsukushima Shrine(Japanese: 厳島神社 Itsukushima-jinja) A Shinto shrine on the island of Itsukushima(popularly known as Miyajima) best known for its"floating" torii gate. 2. Winter snowscape. Probably in Northern Japan, perhaps Hokaido. The prints are very well done and in good vintage condition as shown in the photos. Perhaps the signatures might be recognized by experts in Japanese art. As per the tag on the back. They were framed by Bayne Art Gallery of Fullerton, California, back before we had area codes! They measure 10 x 13 inches framed.

3- shoda koho japanese woodblock prints well framed in vintage wooden frame lot
3 original Shoda Koho prints in a vintage frame. All of the prints are in wonderful condition and were loose before I framed them in a frame I had from another woodblock print. They were framed by 3rd generation expert framers at Brentano's in SoHo NYC. So they can easily be removed from the frame and will still be in immaculate condition. The frame is solid wood and probably from the 60's or 70's. I received the prints as a gift. But unfortunately I collect the yoshida family.

Fabulous Vintage 1930s Dresden Plate QUILT Childrens Novelty Feedsack Prints. Click picture to enlarge This quilt has a light cream background. A nile green border, and great feedsack fabrics. Some pieces have a giraffe and an elephant on them, some have children with toys on them, and there are some with bunnies on them. There are pencil pattern marks still visible. This quilt has never been used. There are the initials. JLH embroidered in one of the corners. It is expertly hand appliqued. It is machine bound. It is hand quilted at 6-7 stitches per inch. It has a quilted grid that has squares that are 1" x 1" and a quilted design on the border and a quilted chain around the border. Measurements: 73 3/4" x 73 1/4" Mint-y. Summer, Autumn and Winter) by Ling Fu Lang would be a wonderful addition to your collection of oriental art. I believe these prints were from the 1950’s. The frames are faux bamboo and very nicely done. As you can see by the photos. The masking tape to seal the edges of the backing has discolored over the years and come loose in some areas. Each print has a wire hanger attached. Each print is also framed with glass to protect it which makes it a bit of a challenge to photograph due to the glare of the flash. Measured on the back of the frames each print measures approx. 8-5/8” wide and 14-3/4” in length. Five are printed pieces and two are jacquard wovens; They are all from the 1920's through the 1970's! A great lot of vintage textiles from a Vintage textile shop in New York City that has went out of business. Here are the details on each: 1- 1920's Tan. Brown, green and OffWhite FOULARD printed fabric piece. It is 32" wide from selvedge to selvedge by 14" Great print! 2- a 1930's Crepe-type wooly fabric piece with a pretty Foulard"wallpapery" type print on a burgundy ground. Is about 20" by 13" 3- a 1920's' Very pretty FOULARD Wallpapery print fabric. This is gorgeous. It Is two pieces that were sewn together in a"bag" ... moretype shape. Each piece measures approx about 12" by 13" 4- a 1920's to 1940's woven heavy upholstery weight with flowers woven on a blue/grey ground. Is approx 12" by 15" 5- from the 1970's in a great Orange and multi color paisley print. Printed on a sheer ground. Appears to have been cut off bottom of a dress or tunic. It is lined in a pale orange cotton. And has two seams. Total piece is approx 15" by 30" 6- 1940's black ground Paisley and patterned print. Interesting detailed print. This piece appears to have been cut from a front dress yoke or top of a tunic as there is a hemmed neckline at top center. Approx measures 21" by 10" 7-a 1940/1950s tan metallic-y ground fabric. With a woven Jacquard/Paisley/Wallpaper type design. Gorgeous! Measures about 28" by 24" All in all this is a great lot of Vintage Fabric Pieces! Great for inspiration. Who was well known for his pin-up and glamour images from the 1930's to late 1950's. He sometimes would sign his work"D'Amarie" On these prints the D"Amaie signature is on the lower left bottom. D'Anacona originals and prints sell upwards from $600 as original paintings and prints between the 1930's to 1950's. The frames are of an antique bronze-goldish color. Brushed with some ivory strokes. I'm not sure of the frame. if it is solid wood or not. It's very hard and it may be resin. The fact that it is painted, I cannot be exact. VINTAGE ARCHITECTURE RADFORD 100 BLUE PRINT HOME HOUSE PLANS COPYRIGHT 1903 If you enjoy antique architecture. This vintage Radford Ideal Homes book has 100 pages of turn of the century houses. Each page has a nice illustration of an early 1900s house and the floor plans. There are also several pages on churches and store front buildings also. The book is over 100 years old but is still intact. It measures 7 1/2" by 10 1/2" and is about 1/2" thick. There is some soiling on the cover but the pages are clean and not torn. This is a wonderful reference book of home building from the turn of the century. The illustrations appear hand drawn and are just outstanding. Thanks for looking. Vintage Botanical Prints In Victorian Wooden Frames
I have three beautiful botanical prints in victorian frames. Eastlake? These are beautiful. They are old and pretty dirty. I have done a general wipe down on them. 26" tall x 13.5 wide. The image is 20.5 x 8" There are some brown spots from age on the prints. These prints were made by publisher Isaac Kaufman in New York. The frames are wooden with a leaf detail. Two of the leaves are missing. These would make such a great group hung up on the wall together. The damage to the frames does little to take away from their charm. Posted with
