Vintage advertising can of beer for Leyland Paint. This British paint company created 9-2/3 oz cans of beer with their paint can branding as give aways to customers. On the back are instructions for using the paint. And a description of the beer. In the 1950's this version of opening beverage cans was introduced and eliminated the need for a separate can opener. Miniature Glass Oil Lamp with wick PLUS small Goofus glass vase with paint
This auction is a strange combination. But the miniature oil lamp is glass and so is the Goofus vase. The height of the miniature oil lamp is 6-3/4" The wick has never been used but I really believe it would work. I've examined it closely and it has all the parts needed and the wick moves up and down by turning the knob. So it is just like a big oil lamp other than it is cute and tiny. The Goofus glass vase stands at 5-1/4" tall and still retains a lot of its original paint. The roses are embossed in high relief making them pop out from the vase. The mouth is about 2-1/4" wide with the opening being about 1-1/2" The mouth of the vase contains some roughness. But it is not bad nor does it detract from the vase. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST

Untitled Document This set of four cast metal decorative curtain rods have elaborately-designed panels attached to wrought iron posts. The L-shaped posts fit into brackets that are now gone. But replacements can be found or made. The poles have retractable metal sheaths, allowing the arrow tips to extend. One of the extension assemblies is missing, so one piece only has the decorative panel and the L-shaped bracket. The decorative panel pieces measure 11.25 inches in height, and the entire length extends from 12.25 inches to 18 inches. They show signs of use and age, but no serious damage that detracts from the overall appearance, and their original paint is intact.
