This auction is for a vintage porcelain mantle clock. Clock is marked Florn and is Made in Germany. I do not think this is the original clock. It is a wind up clock and does work. But looks more like an alarm clock. There is a glue line on the glass face of the clock around the metal frame. The side of the clock has tape wound around it to make is fit in the opening. I don't think it looks that bad with the clock though. The porcelain case is not marked, but looks German. No cracks, chips, or repairs. Excellent condition. Vintage Jerrold Lighted Clock sign. We purchased this from a gentleman that ran a local RCA Zenith Victor Dealership and Repair shop for over 40 years. He was closing down and we thought someone would love to have this for their collection. We dug this out of the second floor of his storage shop. Most of the second floor of this building was destroyed. As I made my way along the second floor I spotted this sign in the corner amazingly in one piece. This is truely a rare find especially the way it was rescued from this building that was on its last leg. The condition is as follows and same as written above: This is a vintage lighted Jerrold Antennas clock sign. It has a turning spiral disc in it that gives the appearance that there is electricity running through the house and the antenna when the light shines through it. I found this in an envelope labeled"antique French clock. I am not a clock expert. But after some research it does appear to belong to a French mantle clock. It is definately old and antique. The suspension rod including hanger measures approx. 5.25" It has an adjustment leveler in the center of the pendulum and also has a screw that can be tightened for desired length. Elegant clock made circa 1880 of German silver and bronze and French clockwork- beyond that I don't have much information. A dragon sits astride the clock and two lions flank it. Giving the piece a very dramatic feel. The clock is largely in excellent condition, though there is some wear. The gargoyle has had one wing repaired but the repair is hardly visible. This beautiful hand-crafted electric clock measures approximately 17 1/2" tall and 13 1/2" across. The grandfather-clock-looking face is completely hand crafted in a cross stitch sampler. With lovely fruit and scroll work.and large Roman Numerals. The wood of the clock frame is different from the glassed framed door, and was all painted in a Wedgwood blue color at one time, with remnants of that paint still visible after having been sanded down to the natural wood. There is a vintage electric Telechron movement attached, and an equally vintage picture wire hanger. The linen sampler was a Paragon Needlecraft pattern. Offered here is a very clean antique American made hand painted banjo wall clock in excellent working condition. Made by Gilbert of Winsted, Conn. It features a two train key wind all brass movement. It strikes on each half hour on a coiled gong. Counting the hours at the top and once on the half hour. T he clock face is a br ushed silver color metal dial with etched arabic numerals and has some age marks. It is marked Gilbert 1807. And Made by Gilbert at Winsted, Conn. USA. The bezel is gold painted. As is the metal eagle finial. The glass is convex and is clean and undamaged. The wood cabinet's finis h is a green painted finish with dark yellow side pieces. Hand painted scroll patterned center and bottom sections and has only as few small marks from use over the last 100 years. The pendulum box has a Victorian parlor scene print behind ... morethe original wavy glass. There are no damaged. Loose or missing pieces and everything appears original. The pendulum and key are included. It keeps good time and chimes properly. Measurements are 29 1/2" high x 9 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" deep. The dial face is 5" across. I do not service the clocks I sell. But indicate the working condition and any other issues to the best of my ability and as such it is being sold as found. ANTIQUE STRIKING ELEGANT CLOCK CIRCA 1830'-1840's EMPIRE ORIGINAL
For your consideration is this very fine quality Antique clock. I know very little about this type of clock so I did contact an expert who has a clock museum on the West coast of the USA who was kind enough to provide the following: The clock is circa 1830-1840 First Half of the 19th century. It is Austro-Hungarian Empire which included Czechoslovaka at the time. This clock would have originated in Vienna or Prague but not a style associated with clocks made in Budapest. The clock is exceptional in terms of condition.The following is my own observations: The clock is 16 1/4" in width X 28 1/2" tall. It has the original key and pendulum. The pendulum hangs by a silk suspension spring and runs perfect. Their are two striking hammers on back of the clock. The clock is what my friend calls a three train mvmt. and strikes in the following ... moresequence. For example between three forty five and five thirty o'clock is: one hammer strikes 3 then the other hammer strikes 3 i.e. 3/3 4/4, 1/4, 2/4,3/4, 4/5/ 1/5, 2/4 etc. Glass in front door is perfect. Clock has the original latch, Porcelain dial is in good condition, the top is obviously hand carved and in good condition. Gilding on the clock is excellent. I very seldom wind the clock, but when I give it a couple of winds, it seems to work perfect both with the striking and with the running. I think some clock collectors call this clock a Grand Sonniere or a repeator clock I really have no idea, all I know it that it is a beautiful antique clock in good running condition and it is in excellent overall physical condt. On the back, as shown in one of the pictures, only the lower half of the back is covered, I may be wrong, but I suspect that is the way it was made so that one might have access to the mvmt to hang the pendulum etc. Shipping and ins within the USA will be $50.I accept paypal and other forms of pmt. Rare Collectors Clock Antique 1909 Venn Mfg Brass Porcelain Plate Wall Shelf
Hello and thank you for looking. Up for auction is a very unique item that I have to say is as rare as comes across my path. This is a clock from approximately 1909 by the Venn Manufacturing Company in Chicago. Illinois. Why do I say it is so rare? 1. In about 2 hours of research I have only seen two similar clocks on all the internet and 1 of them was a broken clock and the 2nd was on Worthpoint.com; 2. I checked worthpoint.com and in their history- which is about 8 years of booking activity on eBay, auction houses and other assorted retail sites- only 1 of these plates has surfaced. 3. Venn Manufacturing is relatively unknown(which could be a good thing or a bad thing- for all I know this could be the Edsel of clocks, but then again, Edsels are quite collectable) Venn also had unique patents in clockmaking which could(I am not a clock specialist ... moreand therefore cannot say with too much certainty) make these clocks unique in their design and operation. As the pictures will show the poreclain plate has no chips or cracks- some minor glaze hairline cracks but that is pretty common for porcelain of this type. I have done a very cursory cleaning- nothing to the works(I don't mess with that which I don't understand) mostly brass polishing. The only wear of the art or design is on a very fine silver band(see photos) in some spots and a few minor spots on a blackberry(see photos) It also looks like some ham-fisted knucklehead did some prying on the bezel from the front which has cause some marks(see phtos) I guess he did not seen that the clock had to be unbolted from the back, which I did to take some interior photos- I also cleaned the works with canned air- that's all, no attempt to grease or fix- and I reattached the covers and glass(which has been cleaned as well- it was removed with a rubber tiped watch repair screwdriver so no scratches or damage) It is attached tight enough it shouldn't move but not so tight that it will take a lot of work to remove the bolts holding down the casing(which

Offered for your consideration is this Antique Boardman& Wells Clock. Boadman and Wells antique clocks are clocks that were manufactured by a clock making duo in the early 1800s. These clocks were made in Connecticut between 1832 to 1843 and in all its 11 years of manufacturing. The company that created these clocks churned out quality merchandise that has become one of the most sought after antique clocks in the world today. This clock features very primitive wooden clockworks. It is a half pillar& splat clock in a mahogany case having a label on the interior that reads, Boardman& Wells Bristol, Conn. USA. among other directions. This clock is in very good condition. The columns are turned, sliced in half lengthwise and the paint decorated. They are applied to the front of the case. The splat is decorated in the same manner and ... moreis original to the clock. The front of the case features a door that is divided into two tablets. The lower tablet features a dark floral image. The upper section is fitted with it's original glass. Behind this, one will find a nicely paint decorated dial. It features Arabic numerals and various interesting gilt designs. Inside the case is the Maker's label which is applied to the inside of the backboard and is in fine condition. The wooden constructed movement is a time and strike design and will run for thirty hours on a full wind. The wooden movement is weight driven where it is operated by a weight hanging down each side of the interior of the clock. This is an extremely large clock towering 39 inches tall x 17 inches wide x 5 inches deep.The clock case features ravishing column finales on top and column end feet on the base. As mentioned this clock is in very nice condition. It comes with 2 weights, key, pendulum, and a lock w/ key on the door. The case features a stunning dark finish. Up for sale is a beautiful rare antique wall clock made by Edward Ingraham. The son of Elias Ingraham, founder of the 19th-century Bristol, Connecticut company that bore his name. Ingraham the senior won 17 patents between 1853 and 1873, all protecting the unique design of his clocks. In 1844. He and his brother Andrew partnered with Elisha Curtis Brewster to form Brewster& Ingrahams. The firm would become E. and A. Ingrahams Company in 1852, Elias Ingraham and Company in 1857, E. Ingraham& Company in 1861, The E. Ingraham& Company in 1881, and The E. Ingraham Company in 1885. These minor name changes might seem overly fussy, but they provide a sure way to date the clock. Rare 8 Day German Porcelain Delft Plate Clock @$27.99
Hard to come by. Nice old German Porcelain Delft Clock, with Blue Holland design. It measures about 8 5/8" x 8 5/8" The front is marked Germany on plate face. The movement is marked: SOHNE, SWENNINGEN, GERMANY. The movement has a can type cover. There is a small BB size chip on top in center, these come about by trying to hang them up and top gets hit on the nail or screw. It was touched up so you don't see it because its more to the back and on top. Seems to run ok.It has been running for two days. It has an 8 day movement. Pendulum is not original but goes with, may need adustment when you get it. I had to adjust it myself at first. So no key: Pendulum is not the right one but is included. Selling AS IS. NO RETURNS.

vtg 1959 Setchell-Carlson flourescent lighted TV store sign clock 50"x14"x3-1/2"
Great old sign! I plugged it in and it kept perfect time all day! There's a shaft for the second hand that works. But the hand and nut are missing(see last photo) The first three pictures are with it plugged in. There are some moderate sratches in the blue on the right by"TV" And a little surface rust on that end panel and a spot on back. Nothing's cracked or broken. The cord is in good condition- looks original- 63" long. It sounds fine. Just a normal hum, I'd recommend oiling it- it is over 50 years old and may have never been? I looked in the end- there are two 48" flourescent bulbs and a small ballast. Selling AS-IS. As described- guaranteed not DOA. It was a fixture at"Woody's TV" in Pomeroy. Iowa- back in 1959.
