With his Left Hand in Dhyana Mudra and his Right Hand is in Bhumisparsa Mudra. The Sculpture/Statue is Not Signed and it doesn’t have any Identifying Marks, but we are fairly certain it was cast in Burma during the Mandalay Period(1853-1948) and most likely prior to 1930. The Buddha, which is seated on a Triangular Pedestal, stands almost 9¾ inches high and measures 8¼ inches wide and 5¼ inches deep. There is a Thin Metal Rod attached to the Inside of the Statue’s Head that extends down almost to its Bottom. It originally extended down further where it was attached to a Display Stand and you can see where it was clipped with Wire Cutters. Otherwise, the Sculpture is in Very Good to Excellent Condition without any dents, cracks, splits or other form of damage and the Bronze has developed an Excellent Darkened Patina.
