Hard to believe the condition, for as long as this has been around the house. The felt pads look original and does show wear( not bad) On the back there is a little wear where it has been rubbed during winding(again not bad) Size: 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 1 1/4" Other than noted in the description and pictures there are no other dents. United Brass 4 Horse Carriage Clock Light good shape not working
The clock hums. But doesn't work neither does the light. The cord isn't bad. The brass is so good that I am surprised that it doesn't work. No whip.the reins are incomplete. The only corrosion is the plate on top of the coach where the light socket is. The last picture show the cross piece that the horses mount to that is broken off of the coach where is supposed to be attached. The finish of the coach and horses is still very good. I have here for your consideration this nice vintage tiffany desk clock. Very nice swiss quartz piece. It needs a new battery I believe. The clock measures 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. I have seen pristine examples of this same clock sell for close to $300. I would rate this clock in good condition so I have set the starting price accordingly. 1939 Seth Thomas E-853 Echo Electric Alarm clock-Walnut with brass trim-working
This is a beautiful 76 year old clock that is still working. The wood is solid Walnut and you can see that it has some crazing and a few minor scratches. The back has some scratches on the black metal and the pull alarm button is missing but you can still turn it on and off with any problem. The alarm piece in the 7th photo has some cracks but is still together. The motor has a humming sound when it is running. It is 5.25H X 5.5W. It has the original plug I believe. This vintage Linden quartz alarm clock is in good working condition with surface wear. You need to adjust time about 12 or 6 hours for some reason the two hands stop moving once in a while but the second hand still running. It is a Florentine pattern in brass. Red, and green on an ivory background. The clock is semi-circular. The clock is 4" tall, 3-1/2" wide, and 1-5/8" deep. Uses a AA battery included. There is a stop button on top and an on/off switch on back. One knob works for both setting the alarm and time- turn knob left to set alarm and pull knob out& turn right to set time. Vintage Seth Thomas Nautical Brass Clock Helmsmen Wood Base Barometer Damaged
Artifact Found* Up for sale is a Vintage Seth Thomas Nautical Clock Model Number E537-001. The clock works great. It has a bell that chimes every half hour. The face has scratches near the keyholes. The adjustment switch for faster or slower is bent and worn but still works. The brass is a little scratched and tarnished. The barometer has a crack in the face and a couple cracks on the side. The barometer glass face seems to be screwed on wrong and would not budge. The wood base has a few little marks. The screws that hold the barometer have been replaced with newer screws. Overall. It is in very good shape for the age. Sitting on the mantle, you have to really look for the damage. It is a beautiful piece. The clock can be taken off and used alone or the whole thing could be repaired. It comes with a key. I can't tell if it's original ... morebut it works for winding up the clock and alarm. Clock & Watch Parts Wittnauer Accutron Bulova Swartchild, Brass Lead Pendulums
This Lot contains Watch and Clock parts from the Estate of a Watch/Clock Repair person. There are items that I am not familiar with so I am doing my best with my research to properly list them. There are six pendulum/weights. Some look like brass over lead the others are brass/gold tone over what I think is lead as well. You can see them in the photo on top of the envelopes they came in with info about the item listed on the front. The envelopes also have writing on them with other information and notes, however I do not know that all items are in the proper envelopes. Some envelopes are empty but have writing on them so I am including all envelopes just in case any info pertains to something within the lot. 4 of the envelopes have white tissue paper inside with very small watch parts such as stems and little screws. I left them in the envelopes ... moreand didn't photograph them because I didn't want to drop them since they are so small. Other small watch parts are inside the Silver Tone canisters. There are 8 canisters of various sizes. The tiny silver canister that is almost a diamond shape is marked MADE IN SWIZTERLAND. There is a Date Gauge for STELLA Wedge Ledge that is in it's original envelope and in very good condition. The little white envelopes say they contain the following items. Clutch wheel, Bestfit. Gruen Newall Stems, Bulova Oscillating Weight Axle. The two small red envelopes have something in them but I don't know what they are. You can see them in the photo, they might be main springs? but I'm not sure. There is also a sealed new old stock accutron crown in the light blue container. The 17 jewel WITTNAUER Geneve watch is missing the back and band. There are five glass domes for clocks. Two of them are flat and they range from 4.24 inches to 5.5 inches and one is marked SWARTCHILD. It's hard to see in the photo but there are scratches on the edges and some throughout the glass. 2 Antique Brass Numbered Nightwatchman ? Station Clock ? Keys Pat Sept 30 1884
Each of these two keys measures about 2.75” long and 1” wide. One is impressed E4 at the top and has an E4(like an old typewriter key) on the end. The other key has a 5 at the top(a preceding letter has been scratched out) and has a 5 at the end. Impressed into one side of the top is Pat Sept 30’84. One of the keys weighs 31.5 grams and the other weighs 30.8 grams. I haven’t been able to find any others like it and am just guessing that they were from some sort of coded time/station clock like a Detex. But older. I welcome all emails! This was given as a presentation piece in early 1980(see plaque) This clock was just serviced by a professional prior to listing and has been cleaned and oiled and is fine running condition. The barometer also appears to be working, although not serviced. Sold with original mahogany double pedestal base, which has a plaque for appreciation of service to Richard W. Horner Mississippi River Transmission Corporation from 1955- 1980, he was the President of that company. The clock face and brass case are in excellent condition and so is the barometer, maybe a few light scuffs to the brass rings. Please This early 1800's rosewood case stands 21 x 14 1/4 inches. With the most intricate brass inlayed case I have ever seen. It is so intricately inlaid, that there really appears to be more brass on the front than the rosewood. It has an opening for a 3 1/2 inch round dial, probably porcelain. The movement would be a french lever escapement or english movement. There is a 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch door in the rear of the clock to access the movement for adjustments. Just look at the case and see now impressive it is. Note the side drawer of the clock, which is a secret storage drawer for your valuables. No one will ever think it is there. The inlay is in immaculate condition, so if you have a movement to fit this case, it will automatically be a tremendously valuable clock.
