This is a beautiful thick glass vase. I believe this is Viking but not 100 percent sure. The vase is a bright sunny yellow opaque with some white accents. Thiere is a clear top around the rim. There are lines going vertically around the vase. Piece measures approx. 7 inches tall at the highest point. 5 1/2 inches tall at the lowest point. It has approx. a 2 1/2 inch opening, and 2 inches at the base. Piece is in very good used condition. There is a small nick on the bottom of the vase. About the size of a small pebble. Up for bids is this Viking sword. A very authentic Victorian Era copy. It is hand made in a style dating from 700-900 A.D. The double edged steel blade is 29-1/2" long and 2" wide where it meets the hand guard. It features a central wide groove. The edge appears to have been intentionally dulled with a file(easily remedied) The downward turned hand guard and lobed pommel are brass or bronze. The wooden grip is made in one piece and lacks covering. It has an age crack on either side and has three old nails in one side. All components are tight. The sword weighs a hefty 2.8 pounds. This is the next best thing to a real Viking sword. An original can easily bring over $10,000. This item is new to the market. Will ship to U.S. Canada, Australia, and Europe with some exceptions. We have recently acquired numerous pieces of vintage Dutch Items. It was our understanding that these items were from a store in Niagara Falls that closed down in the 70's. Which makes sense, because many of the items were wrapped in newspapers from the area and time mentioned. However, we also found many, many items that were wrapped in the La Presse(Montreal, Quebec, Canada) from the 60's. Some items were even wrapped in Dutch Newspapers from 1966/ 67. So it is a bit of a conundrum as to when and/or where these actually originate from. Neat. Vintage lamp. Works with a small bulb, similar to a n old fashioned Christmas light. Bul b is NOT included. This piece stands about 10.25" to the top of the middle mast. Measures about 1 1.25" across the widest part at the front. This Johnson Viking I has been sitting on my shelf for years! In the pictures. You can see some of the dozen or so years of dust! It's another restoration project I'll never get too- even though it appears little work needs to be done other than a good cleaning! The tubes all test good on my Hickock 600A tube checker. I cannot test the 4B32 final tube. So I'm including a spare Rated conservatively at 100 watts AM phone output and 115 watts CW. It covers the ham bands from 160 to 10 meters. The Johnson Viking II was one of its most popular transmitters- be one of the vintage equipment AM and CW operators that have them on the air today! It was offered by the E. F Johnson company in the late 1940's and the early 1950's. A 4D32 spare marked"good" by an EBay seller from whom I purchased it years ago is included. ... moreThe unit is completely untested. I would highly recommend bringing it up slowly on a Variac in order not to"pop" the electrolytic capacitors. Johnson Matchbox 275 watt with extra switch attached. Not sure how good the extra switch works. I think it adds capacitance across the coil. There are some articles on the internet about modifying the Matchbox. Some of the added caps are doorknob type. One is a 50 pf and two are 100 pf. The doorknobs have some value in themselves. The ceramic type are 100pf. 150pf, and 180 pf I think. Evidently the added capacitance was used for 160 meter operation and WARC bands or possibly the 60 meter band? The Matchbox worked good on 80-10 meters. Case look good with a few scratches and a little discoloring. All switches turn good. No burning of contacts. The added switch looks to be heavy duty type. I traded in my Viking Diamond and am selling the extra feet I bought to use with it. I don't have the original packaging. But do have the card that came with the foot(seen in the photo) The card is ripped on the bottom because that's the only way it would fit inside my foot organizer.
