Have stored it in a plastic container with cover inside since owning. It is 13 feet in diameter. No door, or inside skirt. Just straight tipi canvas. no rips! it is in perfect condition with a little Colorado campfire scent! Take it off my hands for cheap! Hi! Up for auction today I have a fun Old Wooden Nickel necklace/pendant that I have no history on. I remember the saying: Don't take any wooden nickels" but I am not sure where that came from. I'll have to google it and get back to you unless you can tell me. The item has a patent date on the chain clasp as shown in the photo. The wooden nickel has a native American Indian on it as well as the date 1800. I have no idea of it's age but I've had it many years and do not remember where I got it. I enjoyed wearing it but it's time for me to clean out my things and I hope you'll take the time to see my other items I will be adding in as time goes on. The Advance in the Arakan- The battles of Kohima& Imphal 15 February 1944 JS50 Cover produced for the 50th Anniversary of the Advance in the Arakan. Cover depicts troops clearing the road to Kohima. Mortar bombs being used to clear the Jungle canopy inside the Kohima perimeter, the Japanese being suprised by the advance of XV Corps and troops crossing a torrent on the Impal-Kohima road. Cover depicts both the Japanese flag and Union Jack. Cover bears red Welsh defin cancelled with BFPS 2395 for the 50th Anniversary of the Allied Advance in the Arakan. Cover has been flown in a Tristar KC1 of 216 Squadron from RAF Brize Norton Via Bahrain to Brunei and returned. After the serious setbacks for the British in the Arakan which ended in May 1943 with the Japanese establishing themselves there had been little activity on this front during the ... moremonsoon months of the summer. Allied energies were devoted to building up stores and training formations in how to counterthe Japanese jungle tactics. During August 1943 it was established that Admiral Lord Louis Mountbatten should command a new and unified South East Asia Comand with General Joe Stilwell as his Deputy and that the 14th Army be established as the main British striking force with General Slim as its commander. The 1944 Campaign was to be aimed at the re-occupation of Northern Burma and re-establishing communications with the Chinese along the'Burma Road. At the Battle of Kohima on 5th April 1944 the leading units of the Japanese 31st Division arrived at the Northern outskirts of Kohima. They found themselves faced by a hastily organised defence perimeter manned by 1500 men. The Japanese launched into what was to become one of the fiercest battles of the war. The booklet is 3 1/2" by 5 1/2" Inside is a 1904 Kansas map with a part of Oklahoma including Indian Territory. The date 1907 is from the calendar on the back inside cover. Couldn't get a good shot of it. The date on the map is 1904. The piece is in very good condition. The map has two tears that I put scotch tape on to prevent further tearing. The map unfolded is 10" by 13" The booklet has no other pages, just the map.

I t is a great looking and larger than normal pennant(29" x 11.5" excluding tassels) This is a gr eat classy looking pennant with several indian scenes- one do ing a dance. One in a canoe, some outside the village, and some tee pees as well. Great looking pennant and displays well! I estimate this penna nt to be from the 195 0 s. It is in good condit ion. Being a fabulous California creation from the Florence Art Co. circa the 40-50s, an Indian Warrior, mounted, with a tomahawk in his hand and him glowering. It is in very good condition in so far as the chalkware is concerned, but there are several spots of the glass pane in back where the coloration has been lost, there are a few places ... morewhere the paint of the statue is off, and the electrical cord is cut so close in the back that probably the original socket cannot be rewired as original. All of these are clearly shown in photos. It is a large lamp at 13"H X 7 3/4"W, weighing approx 6-7 lbs. The last photo was taken with sunlight providing back-illumination, indicating what the lamp would look like when rewired with new parts and turned on in darkish room. Doubtless, new, effective wiring can be easily accomplished via using the workable existing socket, and screwing in a new socket and switch with a new, free electric cord. I am offering you the vintage sheet music/words for four Indian Love Lyrics from The Garden of Kama by Laurence Hope. Set to music by Amy Woodforde-Finden. Boosey& Co. London, price 3/ The spine is damaged& has residual cellotape on it, some pages are loose, age foxing in places, a few minor tears on page edges, some soil marks on the covers& a name written in the top corner of front cover. All of the pages are still totally readable. Over the coming weeks I will be listing a lot of song words/dance/sheet music. Both classical& popular dating from the early 1900's- 1970's. So you may wish to keep an eye on my site. If possible I will be happy to combine postage for multiple purchases.
