It also appears to be the same as one shown on Plate# 316 in the book The Open Salt Compendium by Sandra Jzyk& Nina Robertson The salt is marked on the bottom“830 S” NORGE” a“Lo” Logo/Hallmark” The“830” would indicate a grade of silver below sterling. Up for auction is an antique or vintage 1930s Chevrolet chromed hood ornament radiator cap. This hood ornament depicts a winged Viking head or face. This is truly a heavy piece.
