These Selig chairs' parts were designed to slide and snap into place and shouldn't require the extra screws, however. Up to the winning bidder whether or not to use them. CONDITION Overall excellent condition with very light finish wear. There are a couple scuffs to legs and the underside front support cross bar has some nicks to finish which are unseen in place(see photos) This would have originally had pirelli or fagas rubber straps with metal clips for the seat suspension. Presumably. These dried out with age and someone tacked in rubber strap suspension without clips. There is some splitting to the seat frame where the straps were tacked in(see photos) Replacement fagas straps are available online if one wanted to restore, though the current straps are functioning just fine. Beautiful lacquered ... moregoat skin dining table by Karl Springer circa 1975 shows half round leg and desirable knife edge.This is a monumental table measures 8 feet wide and can be a full 10 feet when the leaf is added.Measures 4 feet deep and is 29" tall.Overall the condition is very good as there are a few minor imperfections to be expected with a table of this age;there is a short split on the left leg inside,the top has a tiny ding on the center edge about 1/4" diameter and the leaf has lacquer loss on one corner about the size of a quarter,all should be very easy fixes if so desired.also the left side of the table has age related crazing lines typical of this type of furniture,there are no crazing lines on the right side.We have listed this table as no shipping but can have this delivered to you in New York or most parts of New England free of charge.
