Offered is a extremely fine copy of the Joy Division biography. A Joy For Living, written by Mark Johnson and published by Proteus Books in 1984. This paperback volume is a first US edition and, aside from several pages being opened to be photographed, has probably never been read, but instead was kept stored on a bookshelf from the day I received it, 30 years ago. The listing photo of the cover appears to have some dark images on it, but they are from glare because the cover, which shows an angel in a dark purple gown and a white head, is still extremely glossy and reflected the photographer's image. There is no sign of aging of the pages, the spine is still perfect and totally intact, and the only indication of any shelf wear is a few minimal areas of roughness at the bottom edge of the back cover. This is a set of three American girl doll books for Kirsten. They include meet Kirsten. Book one; changes for Kirsten book 6; and Kirsten saves the day book 5. These were title I library books as seen by the markings in the picture. The condition is wonderful with the exception of the spines which look a little worn. There are other minor flaws such as slight bent corner on book 5 but all pages are beautiful with no markings or folds. One has the plastic cover which is book one and the others do have stickers on the spines and back cover.
