The opening for your tree trunk is 2-1/2" and goes to 3" but you have to allow for the space the screws take up. The tree trunk goes in about 4" deep. It has original paint and is very decorative with the poinsettia's. The original wiring is there but I would not use it. You can place any light set into the holes to decorate it any way that you wish. This is a very old rare antique for your special vintage Christmas tree. For sale is a fantastic antique art deco tree stand made by the Germany company. DGRM. The stand has a metallicized type of green paint with gold tones highlighted. Dimensions are: 4-1/2" tall 7-1/4" on each side 1-3/4" maximum inside diameter for tree branch Condition is very nice. There are some wear marks that you can best see on the corners in the photos. The interior water well has a rust color. Importantly. There is no rust-through any where. It is still sturdy. Craftsman really knew how to made things in the old days. Absolutely stunning Christmas tree stand. In my opinion this is the nicest one for sale. Has very detailed scrolled design. It also stretches out very wide ensuring the tree will stand well. It is made or cast or wrought iron. This metal has dulled but if desired it can be painted. The inside is naturally rusty. Has no visible marks but I know the style to be German. It is the only one of its kind for sale; there are some that are similar but not as nice. Christmas may be a ways off. But its never too early or late to pick up a great item for next year. I do not know if this is for a commercial fishing ship down rigger weights or a cannon ball for a cannon but just a awesome piece. I don't think there is another one for sale or recently sold in the world! The Indian Motorcycle company manufactured other products just for a little while like this sewing machine. The machine and components do show sign of age. Unfortunately the wood on top of the lid is damaged. see picture) and the handle is missing.The most important thing the decal which is originally on one side of the lid is in very good condition. Obviously important for display purposes. The wooden top of the table has staining and marks but is not ia a too bad condition. The machine itself shows signs of age. To actually crack a hard-shelled nut you lift up on the hand which kind of looks like his exagerated shoe ... moreand put the nut in his crotch area(I'm sorry, I can't think of another word for that area) and push down on the handle and the nut separates from the shell. Craftsman 12' bandsaw mod 103.0103 1940 era cast iron
I have a 1940's era Craftsman 12in bandsaw for sale. It is all there in working order and has a 1/2 hp 1725 rpm motor on a homemade wooden base. This is a heavy well made machine, lots of cast iron- runs smooth and quite, base is a little funky and I'm not crazy with the jack shaft speed change but it works and would be easy to change. All original except aluminum drive pulley which should be a 5in, easy to put back to original style drive.

Up for auction is this nice set of 4 Cast Iron Claw Foot Hardware. With Glass Balls. The pieces have Brass or Brass colored Gliding. They measure 4" long and the glass balls are 1 1/4" in diameter. Each foot has a hole in the back to attach to the furniture leg with a set screw. Very nice detailing. These are authentic as I took them off an old round table.
