RARE Trial ROBINSONS Art Deco Vase one off - Vibrant colours excellent condition
RARE one off trial Art Deco vase. No idea who it is made by. But looks like Charlotte Rhead style- not the lady herself, but from that factory, as it looks like trialing of tube lining and colours, or possibly Crown Devon. Any info greatly received. There is no damage as such. But the tube lining is missing in lots of areas as this is a trial piece. The colours are obviously being tested, and the numbers and'ROBINSON' and'ROB' is marked next to the colours with numbers. There is a deep plum colour and a blue/plum colour. One half of the base is orange the other just washed beige/brown. One side has brown checks inside the circles and the other side has deep orange checks. One half of the vase at the top rim is orange, the other just washed painted in the body colour of the vase. Myott Son and Co. Made in England Hand Painted 4 Tea Cups with Creamer and Sugar Bowl From markings these were made 1930s. Art Deco. Cups-3 of 4 have MYOTT markings on bottom-4th says England. There are no noticeable chips or nicks but there is grazing. Wear on the bottom. No stains and paint is in good condition. 4 Saucers all have MYOTT marking on bottom-grazing but no noticeable chips or nicks. These are near a century old and are not factory perfect. Sugar bowl is missing a lid if it had one. It has no chips niks-just crazing. Creamer is also in good condition with no nicks chips-just faint crazing. Measures approximately 12-1/4” tall including head. The main body of this penguin is glass painted black with chrome wings. Chrome footed base and a chrome collar. His stomach is clear glass clear glass with gold strands of glass thread. It has a cork stopper with metal pour spout. The cork is clean. Odor free and fits snuggly in bottle. Here is an old vintage tin from the Globe Soap Company of Cincinnati. Ohio. It is blue and ivory with gold trim. There are naked dancing women- one is holding a basket and another is blowing a long horn. This tin measures 9 1/2" by 8 1/4" by 5 1/2" It is in very good condition with only minor signs of wear. There are a couple of small dents on the top and some areas where the paint is missing but nothing major. Please look at all the pictures and let me know if you have any questions.
