Vintage Italian Florentine Nesting Tables 2 Italian Wood Tables This auction is for a wonderful pair of Vintage Italian Made Florentine Tables I am unable to locate the maker mark but from my experience and research I believe it to be Italian. The tables are in nice structural condition and are fairly stable. I would not however recommend using these as your everyday end tables. These are perfect for someone who really knows this art and how to restore them. The gold paint is flaking and the paint on the top of the tables is as well. I purchased these at a fundraiser so I’m unsure if the original owner smoked(doesn’t smell it) or had any animals so you should assume they did. I'm pretty sure they had a cat. I'm highly allergic and touching them makes me itch but it doesn't smell like a cat. I have yet to clean these up since I ... moredon’t want to damage the paint any further. I would love to keep these but with 2 young boys they would never survive. The larger table(detail pictures shown first) is approx. 20” tall and the top is approx. 17” across. This has two broken off chips where the leg connects. these should not affect the stability. The smaller table is approx. 18” tall and approx. 13” across and has the same sort of damage to 2 parts. These also should not affect anything. For shipping. These will be disassembled and pieces will be individual wrapped. The legs bow out from there and add about 2 inches to each side. They are 20 inches tall. I can't get enough of these wonderful tables. Rare to find a pair! They look great beside a bed. These are two vintage hand carved side tables. One is mint condition and the other has two minor flaws. The flaws are a small wood seperation down the grain of the wood about 4 inches long from the outter edge. Also. Same table has one ear that has been repaired. I have tried to show these flaws in pictures. I know these two tables are very old and are authenic. The tables were brought to US in the 1940's. The dimensions are 21"X14"X17" = L/W/H Both tables are the same size.

Description Pair of 19th Century palace size Chinese rosewood two-tier marble top carved center or foyer tables would be a great addition to your home. This pair of tables were purchased from the estate of the second wife of William McKnight of 3M Corporation in 1991. We have used this pair of tables in our home for many years here in South Florida to display statues. This pair of tables are beautifully carved with great detail from what appears to be rosewood or another exotic wood. The carving of flowers and foilage with decorative beading along the top edge of each table is done with nice detail. This pair of tables measure 22 3/4" in height. 23" in width, 21" in diameter at the top surface of each table. Condition Overall condition of this pair of Chinese tables is average. Gorgeous and excellent used vintage. Notice all the wonderful hand-carving! Featured on e very sur face(except the table surfac e of course) including sprouting ba mboo can es. Blossoms, and birds! The tables are skirted with bird s featured at both front and back of the 3 tables and all with floral si des. The tallest is 28" high x 19 5/8" wide x 14" deep fro m front to back. The smallest is 1 6" high x 12 3/4" wide x 8 1/2" deep from front to back. So lid const ruction and all are sturdy. Work on these to reveal that gorgeous r osewood glow! Lovel y! No issue s. No wear. No gou ges-nice! The final photo shows tape that was added to keep light from revealing the very small gap in assembly on the two middle-sized tables. Bordered by mother of pearl or abalone inlaid in a Greek key type pattern ITEM MEASUREMENTS These tables measure about 27" high by 22 3/8" wide by 13 5/8" deep& about 25 7/8" high ... moreby 18 3/8" wide by 12 7/8" deep& about 24 3/4" high by 14 1/2" wide by 12 1/4" deep. Above: The top of the largest table was exposed all the time so it shows characteristicas of normal exposure. I have not cleaned. Polished or tampered with the original finish. I have heard that there are ways to restore translucent blackness to the opaque areas shown above. Above& below are the medium and small tables. The tops were protected by nesting together. And were only exposed to light use. THIS ITEMS CONDITION REPORT These are in good condition. There is a ring on the top from a cup(shown above) and some opaque areas to the top of the largest table. There are small scratches and wear consistent with normal use and age. ITEM WEIGHT These items weigh about 16 1/2 lbs. total before packing.
