Probably c. 1910-30 Item# 130008GQJ26 Crafted during the first years of the ... more20th Century. When fervor for antiques of the Louis XV taste were still at a remarkable high, this very attractive French Louis XV Bureau Plat was embellished with great effort. Featuring a solid mahogany top with a molded edge, the front of the bureau plat has a long hand dovetailed drawer for storage, opening to reveal a solid golden oak interior. The keyhole escutcheon is probably the finest bronze mount on the desk, a piece that prominently features the rocaille movement around the fully functioning key and lock. The apron is shapely, the front and back mirroring the flow of the top with a slight inversion in the middle. The cabriole legs are formed with very fine gate, the tapering form nearly perfect in proportion to the table, each surmounted with an intense rocaille Gilt bronze mount with the"C" form featured actively as it curls over the entire knee- a thin reed of gilt bronze continues to flow down the leg into the beautiful Gilt bronze sabot mounts with curling toes. This is a fully functional piece. Not just being a beautiful decorative art, the form being sturdy and strong throughout with a clean writing surface. For decorators passionate about the French Louis XV form, this is a wonderful find. Measurements: 39 1/2" wide x 23 7/8" deep x 29 1/4" high to top of desk; 24 1/8" high to underside of drawer(when sitting) Condition Report: Light dings and chips throughout. Including some loss to the corners of the drawer, a small"dent" in the top and scuffing to the top. Overall very attractive, the typical wear and use abrasions being somewhat limited and the overall desk being quite well preserved. The bronzes are of medium quality with some pitting and cracks from the foundry process- we believe the mounts are unsigned, though only one sabot has been removed and examined. This fine desk measures 45 1/2 inches in height to the top of the gallery at the back.Height to the top at the front measures 46 inches, with a total width of 48 inches, total depth of 26 inches and this desk weighs approximately 200 lbs. The pull out writing surface measures 41 inches wide by 21 inches deep and height from the floor to the top of the writing surface measures 30 inches. The knee hole height of the desk portion measures 25 1/4 inches and knee-hole width measures 18 3/4 inches. The cylinder portion of this desk raises and lowers very smoothly and has a large brass lock mechanism on the bottom which is marked: Indianapolis Cab. Co Pat. The lock is intact but we do not have the key. The inner desk portion is beautiful maple with a multitude of various sizes of storage drawers and cubbies.The old green felt on the pull out writing surface appears original and does show some wear and some spots. The left offers a stack of four storage drawers with period dove-tailed ends and the original pulls. To the right another drawer is found with a storage cabinet below. The lock is missing from the cabinet door. As you can see in the pictures this desk could easily be in the center of a room for it is as lovely on the back as the front and is finished beautifully all the way around. Monterey Furniture Small Painted Side Table with Olla and Cactus
Small painted table is not branded or marked but is likely Monterey. Table is 24” wide. 12 ¼” deep and 20”tall. There is overall light wear but she still sports most of her original paint including design of olla pot. Cactus, and bird in flight on the stretchers. Most of the paint is gone from the wood buttons covering the screw holes on top but the covers are all present. Still in good condition overall and sturdy. Marked with a faint number underneath, probably 780. This one is shippable.

This is a set of 1950's western furniture made by Economy Furiture from Austin.TX. All furniture is constructed of oak with what appear to be maple wagon wheel designs on the ends of the couch and the sides of the rocker. The couch is 83ins. long and 6 foot on the cushions. it is 3 feet deep.It is a hide-away bed.Has conpartment under it for linens.It is green naugahide with steer heads stitched in the back cushion.The rocker is 32.5ins. wide and 39ins. deep, and is maroon naugahide with a steer head stitched in the back.The end tables(2) are 23.75 ins long, 14.25 ins. wide, and 21 ins. high. The coffee table is 39.75 ins. long, 22.25 ins.wide, and 16.75 ins. high.It came out of a cottage on Indian Lake. Would be great in a log cabin. Any questions please feel free to ask. This is a beautiful mid-century dining table and 6 chairs by Hook Furniture. This table is absolutely gorgeous and in excellent condition with a few light surface scratches and a little finish wear along the edges of the table. I noticed one circular watermark. It faded with furniture polish but can be seen at certain angles. The table measures 44" wide without the leaves. There are 2 10" leaves making the total size 64" x 44. The table height is 29.5" The table has a wonderful design and lovely woodgrain patterns. This auction is for a set of 4 vintage drawers pulls will brass plates. The handle swivles at the knob on the base of the plate. The handle at the end of each pull is made of wood. There are two different designs on the rings around the handles- see pictures 2 and 3(there are two of each design) This is the only difference I can see in the set of 4. Two of the pulls are missing the end screw at the bottom of the ring on the wooden handle(see photo 1) These pulls are getting harder to find in this condition. The brass plate measures 5" wide by 2 1/2" tall. The handles with the screws intact hang down 3"
