It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! The main structure is satinwood which has a lovely blonde finish to the wood. Whilst into the structure of this has been embedded the amazingly intricate inlay work consisting of floral scrolls, leaves, urns, emblems and other heraldry. The amount of craftmanship that has gone into this is breathtaking if you imagine each piece of design has to be cut from the softer fruitwoods and then embedded into the main structure of the desk. You can only imagine how long this would take to achieve for a piece like this. The term'Carlton House' has become a popular phrase to describe a writing table with a low superstructure that encloses the sides of the writing area as well as the back. The Prince of Wales. Later George IV, commissioned a table of this model in the 1790s for Carlton House. The desk has a leather topped writing area surrounded by small drawers. Cupboards and storage areas. There are also five larger drawers to the front of the desk so there is ample storage space on this piece. Each of the drawers also has more inlay work, as do the legs and the sides. This is an absolutely beautiful Chippendale Style Dining Room Suite manufactured here in the USA by Johnson Furniture Co. Grand Rapids, Michigan, Circa 1920's to 1930's. There are 11 pieces in the collection which include an ornate table that measures approx. 5 1/2 feet(66" long by 43 1/2" wide) and has 3 leaves, each measuring 11" allowing it to extend to over 8 feet long when all three are used! The leaves are stored in their own holder. There are 8 chairs, 2 of them being armchairs, all the seats are covered in a classic light to medium(sage? green material, very clean. The sideboard measures 69" wide by 22" deep and has a protective glass top! It features plenty of storage with 4 deep drawers, the 2 smaller ones are divided, and 2 doors that open to accommodate taller objects. Also included is a gorgeous ... morechina cabinet that has 3 shelves with plate groves behind 2 locking glass doors(key is there) above 3 drawers, the top one is 4" deep, the middle drawer is 6" deep and the bottom drawer is 7 1/2 deep. The china cabinets overall measurements are 74" tall by 35 1/2" wide and 19" deep. There is such incredible detail on all of these pieces, so hard to capture with my camera. The 5 chairs are in very good condition for their age but will require restoration work to be perfect. These chairs were used by a Fraternal Order of Eagles in ceremonies for many years. handmade antique vintage doll furniture,dated 1941, wrapped wicker,leather seats
This is a very old handmade antique set of doll furniture. A chair and sofa. It is wicker that has been bent, then some of it has been wrapped with thin strips, like caning strips. The seats are made of an old leather-like material with a flower pattern. I don't know the material, but it is woven underneath with a stiffer material over it. It is cracked like old leather. The sofa is 7 inches long, 4 inches deep and 7 inches high. The chair is 3 inches wide, 3 inches deep and 6 inches high. One of the arms of the sofa has come apart from the seat and needs to be fixed. I don't want to mess it up with crazy glue. On the bottom of the larger piece, written in pencil on the wood, it says'Presented to Hazel Erickson by Doll Club, end of second year May 7, 1941' I am not a doll person, and am not at all familiar with old furniture ... moreor the materials used to make it. Antique Chinese 40" Long 2 Drawer Table w Carved Apron This 2 drawer table has a flush panel top. There is a simple bead detail around the 2 drawers. The bottom stretcher has a double bevel. The lower bevel has a bead detail below. And the bevel and bead carry around and down the inside of the front legs to the feet feet which have a carved scroll detail. There is a intricately carved apron below the drawers. The sides and back have recessed flat panels and simple shaped aprons. Approx. Antique Wood Fence Finials or Furniture Finials, lot of 2
These finials are all wood. Measure about 5 inches tall. These came from an estate sale, I was thinking possibly to furniture or fence, most likely fence being they are weathered. My guess is that they are from 30's or 40's. One has most of the paint off and there are cracks as shown in picture. I am sure this is normal aging, unsure if could be sealed or repaired.

The heavy twisted cast iron 31" high. Table base with hammered large 8" x 6" center flower bouquet. A 38 1/2" long x 11 1/2" deep, black marble curved into a half moon. The marble table top at one time has been repaired as you can see slightly the old fracture within the marble top. This is exactly how I purchased over 25 + years ago. Here is a bit of history on Atherton Furniture- LeBaron Atherton came to the U.S. from Canada in 1897. He bought the failing B. A. Atkinson& Co. furniture store in Lewiston Maine after making it successful. Other stores were opened later in Waterville. Bangor, and Portland as well as Brockton, Worcester, Springfield, Pittsfield, and Haverill, Massachusetts. This plate measures approx 7 1/2" across. It has a scalloped embossed border in Art Nouveau style. Color is a deep blue/green teal with gold trim on edge. Condition: It is without chips. Cracks, nicks or dings. There is crazing within the glaze- this is most noticeable on the back of the plate, but also visible on front when one looks closely. Front also has tiny particles within the glaze- plus a couple tiny flecks into the glaze- imperfections from when plate was made. It remains a beautiful plate exhibiting only minor wear when one considers it age! A very nice plate for those who enjoy Victorian fashion and decorative arts. T. H. Robsjohn Gibbings for John Stuart 7 drawer dresser. Amazingly high end furniture built in the mid century. In beautiful. Original finish with age appropriate wear. One handle is bent in with a crack on the back of it but very sturdy and strong. There are a few small areas on the lighter finish of the drawers that is missing it's original finish. On the bottom front there is an area shown in the photograph where the mahogany has been chipped. And lastly, there is a faint water stain on the top shown in photo.
