It seems to be all steel apart from the desktop itself, which is tan formica or something similar. So let's give you some measurements. First. From the floor to the desktop is about 30" Second, it is about 60" wide and 30" deep, and the knee space between the two banks of drawers is about 25" It has two pullout keyboard shelves, one on each side, three undivded drawers on the left, a shallow center drawe with four small compartments at the front, and two divided drawers on the right. The top one is fitted with a metal business form organizer, and the deeper one below has a single vertical divider that can be adjusted by sliding it forward or back. As the pictures show. It has some overal surface scuffing and scratching, with rust just beginning to show through, indicating it might be time to strip it and upcycle it into something a but brighter or more colorful. Or leave it just the way it is is if you're oging for the used and worn look. We are also including the chair we found it with. Although it is more like a dining chair than a desk chair. It is all metal. I know, don't those legs legs look like turned wood? Because we don't want to get involved in crating this item for shipping. Meubles RINCK" is an entity specializing in high end furniture inside the RINCK group. The desk is 52" wide x 27" deep x 30 1/2" high. The underside is stamped with the maker's mark by M. Rinck and the seal of"UNION NATle INDUSTRIE FRANCAISES DE L'AMEUBLEMENT" The 3 drawers all lock with a deadbolt and each have their own key. The two outside drawers measure 10 1/2" wide X 20" deep X 3" high with the middle drawer measuring 15 1/2" wide X 21" deep X 3" high. This desk was my father's pride and joy. My earliest memories of it date back to the 1970s when we lived in NYC and it was in his private study. It is in excellent condition with signs of use on the burgundy leather working area on top which also has a couple of stains. A competent furniture restorer can easily replace this leather piece but I would order a replacement directly from Rinck to preserve the desk's heritage. The following information was supplied by Rinck in reply to my recent email inquiry regarding the desk's provenance: Dear Sir, I can confirm that desk is coming from our company and Parisian work shop. I can not be more precise about the year. Because all client's files are archived, but: It is a Louis XV style desk, traditionally manufactured with a solid oak structure, with mortaises and tenons joined, hand dovetail joins for the drawers, black lacquered finishing, ornate with sand casted, chiseled, and ormolu set of bronze. The round UNIFA stamp on the underside of the desk is there to assure the desk has respectability and was constructed to the standards of the Professional Union. The UNIFA stamp also confirms your desk is from the period between 1960 and 1980. Because after it would have been stamped"Groupement ébénisterie d'art" As Rinck at this period was only working on

It is pretty unique with the solid top backrest with scroll top corners. The base mechanism is marked H. B. W. Co. Heywood Brothers& Wakefield Company. That dates it from 1897 to 1921. Swivels and is on casters. This chair is in excellent condition with some minor chips along the left edge of the backrest and a small dark spot on the seat. There are a couple of places where the bolts/ screws need tightening. There are no splits or repairs to the wood. The base was removed at some point. Possibly at the time the chair may have been refinished. I’m not sure. When the base was reattached, new holes were used right in front of the original ones and unoriginal screws were used. There are also about 4 small holes in the seat bottom, 2 on each side. I don’t know what this was for. The seat is about 17 inches from the ground. The backrest is about 40 inches high. This chair was removed from a storage unit filled with the inventory from a New Hampshire antique shop. This is the last piece of oak furniture from the storage. This is a very unique hand-carved piece with grape vines and flowers. The age is unknown but by the looks of the wood it's mid-century. It measures 29" long by 18" wide by 16 1/2" tall and the wood is actually 7/8" thick. There is some slight wear in spots around the edges and some very small chips and imperfections but over all the piece is in very good vintage condition. It is pine wood and weighs about 35 pounds. I calculated shipping from the Dallas area to the farthest distance possible which is Olympia Washington and that would be almost $100 through UPS. If you live closer the shipping will be less. The Hoosier has some cracks in wood on the left top side witch are very minor. The Hoosier has scratches and some minor finish loss. The inside of the Hoosier it was painted white and now due to age all the paint is flaking off. Also the bottom bread drawer that is metal has loss and holes as pictured. This stand weighs 12.4 pounds and measures 28 and 3/4" tall by 18" across at the top by 15 and 1/2" across at the base legs. There is some wear present however there are no breaks or repairs present. The top section can be removed since it is not secured to the base. I have shown this in my photographs. There is some dirt present on this wood stand. This is a very early cherry corner cupboard. It is pre 1840 and retains original hardware. Latch, scroll apron and feet. Has square nails and hand hewn boards in the back of the cupboard. This is an incredible antique burl piece of wood! It must have been slated to be a lamp base as a hole is drilled through the center. Please look at all of my pics carefully as this is a really old(and dusty) piece! I don't know what type of wood this piece is.It is really heavy though-between 5 and 10 pounds(my scale tops out a 5 pounds! It measures APPROX 9" X 7" X 9 1/2" tall and. As I said, is between 5 and 10 pounds; the hole drilled through the center measures 3/4" diameter. This piece seems really old as it is covered with dust and looks really dry and cracked.see pics.
