Early American Furniture Antique Primitive Pine Colonial Armoire Wardrobe @1795
This Spectacular Early American Solid Plank Pine Armoire/Wardrobe is Circa 1795-1825 Of course this piece was all hand made. No doubt by an early American craftsman. It features thick solid pine plank construction.The armoire has tons of character marks and great patina, I restored the finish with a hand rubbed varnish to protect the wood and bring out the gorgeous graining and character marks. The early hand wrought iron nails are exposed.At the door frame front corner faces you can see the two hand made pegs at each corner. They secure the hand made mortise and tenon joinery of the door frames. The entire top has one solid plank of pine which is dovetailed with one large dovetail joint into the sides of the armoire.The blackened graining of the pine is natural and makes for beautiful highlights. The cornice detail which trims the cabinet ... moretop is superb. Another rare and excellent feature is the original hand made clothes hooks which swivel left& right. They are hand-pegged into their support piece. The whitewashed cabinet inside appears to be original. There are also a few tiny remnants of a linen/muslim cloth held by wrought nails inside the cabinet.It appears the cabinet was once lined with linen cloth. The iron lock is original. I had a period style key made,the key is solid brass which I painted to match the hardware.The lock and key work excellently. The hardware is reproduction period style iron hardware.This piece has many nicks. Dings and character marks in the wood, There is an exposed nail on the lower left front corner where a chip of wood has been missing for a long time, I like the fact you can see this nail, it adds tremendous character& history to this piece, I made no attempt to restore this area, I think it is unique! The doors have age related shrinkage gaps where the recessed panels meet the frame, this is to be expected with a such an old piece.The doors close well, I added magnetic catches to secure them. The left side door has an antique slide locks(top& bottom) which allows it

ANTIQUE/VINTAGE ARCADE CAST IRON DOLL HOUSE FURNITURE-ALCOVE TABLE AND BENCHES
Greetings. I am very pleased to offer for auction this estate find in Connecticut. This set is a dining alcove with two benches and a table. The dining alcoves were very popular in the 1920s. Two booths. Both marked“CURTIS” and Arcard Mfg. Co. are 4.75” high and 4.75” wide with a seat depth of 1.5” Table is marked similarly and is 2.75” and 4.75” long. Items condition as pictured. Both of these pieces fit into the 1-1/2 inch to 1 foot scale. They are in off white with the Curtis lettering in black. The bottom of the table is marked"Made by Arcade Mfg. Co. Freeport. Ill. The bench is marked"Arcade- Freeport, Ill. This is the original paint. As you can see, there is some paint wear. This is quite common with the cast iron toys. There is no other wear on these pieces. The decal and the Curtis marks are a little worn- but easily read.

Chip out of one of the leaves and a quarter sized spot on the table top that looks lighter than the finish. Chairs were re-done with new fabric but the original black chair pads are still intact underneath. Set comes with 6 chairs(one is a captain's chair) Also comes with 2 leaves(these are a slightly darker color than the table. This auction is for a large used antique cabinet or furniture that my mom and dad used in their basement as a workbench. It is in its original condition but does need some TLC. I have not attempted to clean it. Seems to be intact other than it is missing the front knobs on the doors. I opened the first door in the picture so you can see the inside. It measures 65 inches long by 36 1/2" high and is quite heavy. I am selling this for local pickup only, so, whoever wins this will need to bring a truck and haul it out and load it. Up for sale is a fan tastic and rare three dimensional wood advertising sign or display for the B. L. Marble Chair Company. Marble made very high quality wood office chairs and this sign would have been given to furniture store s that sold the chairs. Measuring ju st over 16" in diameter a nd a little under 18" tall. The wood sign has an eas el back so that it is free standing. I' m not positive how old the sign is. But I'm thinking 19 20's- 1940's. Overall it is in pretty good condition for a sign of its age and type. It has some scratches to the finish(which can be seen in the photos) but it still looks great. I've never seen this sign before and haven't been able to find another anywhere on the web. I can't imagine that tons of these were made and am fairly certain not many still exist. Up for bids is a beautiful antique dresser/ furniture piece converted to a double bowl. His& her bathroom vanity sink. The top and matching backsplash are made of ceramic tile and really give it a vintage look. The sink bowls are white colored drop-in style with a 4" on-center, 2-handle brushed nickel lav faucet on each. The faucets are each missing a screw hole cover on the top of one of the handles. Those should be easy to get here on Ebay. I'm not quite sure what type of wood it is, but it has a really nice grain pattern. The top 3 drawers across are fake fronts to hide the bowls. The middle 3 drawers are full size and pull out all the way. There is a door on each end for storage as well. Antique Solid Maple Furniture Chair Table Ottoman Legs Turned Tapered Wheels
Two legs are turned in three places and two legs have square tops. That there are two different styles suggests to me that these were chair legs but I'm sure they could work on an ottoman or a table too.The legs are 11.5" long(10" wood and 1.5" wheel) with a 2.5" hanger bolt post. They have not been refinishedand ou can see marks in the original honey colored finish. I took several photos of the beautiful tight maple grain. I'm estimated the age and guessing at the style. To me they're simply w onderful pieces that I have had for years and realize that I won't get around to making something with them so I'm passing them on to someone else.

I painted the 5 drawers with black.The top drawer bottom I added the"cheetah" fabric. Which is a felt backed vinyl, making for a soft surface. I buffed to a satin sheen and sealed them with a clear finish, I left some darkened highlights in place for character I restored the finish entirely by hand. The desk had an brown opaque finish which was poorly applied and hiding the wonderful grains and textures of this walnut I applied many. Many coats of hand rubbed oil varnish, the finish brings out the rich depths and textures of the wood, including some beauty marks in the grain(knots, dings, nail holes I filled and some chips in the wood panels on the lower edges of the kneehole area) When you rub your hands over the wood. It feels fantastic.I did restore some pieces(some trim at the bottom of the pedestals)This desk has beauty marks& imperfections. It has the original weights and headboad and has been completely refinished. Some one in the passed put 4 nails in the footbaord that are not original and three screws in one of the side panels. The screws and nails are of an early era and are not at all noticiable nor effect the operation of the item. The mercury mirror has some flaking.
