Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony. The desk is a reproduction made by the Maddox Table Co. of Jamestown, New York. This desk comes right out of the New England estate. The desk has those wonderful features most folks are looking for, such as all-wood drawers with dovetail corners, and clawed feet. The hardware and locks are the originals that came with the desk, not replacements. The desk was in my family for around 60 or so years, so the desk dates to at least 1950, and it may be older than that- I'm just not sure. The desk is the slant-front style, hinged at the bottom, so it opens up and the front lays flat to become the writing surface; the desk front can be locked. When the desk front is opened and lowered into the writing position, two arms come out automatically to support the writing surface. Inside the desk there are 3 small drawers, and holders for stashing letters and so forth. In the center of the opened desk, inside, there is a closed compartment with no lock; the compartment door is scratched. There are 3 drawers below the writing surface that extend almost the full width of the desk, and each one of them can be locked. These drawers have a graceful bow front(see photos) Above the desk itself is a prominent feature, a bookcase with 2 shelves covered by hinged glass doors that swing out and can be locked. The bookcase doors do not line up 100% vertically when closed, a common problem with these desks. The secretary top measures 36" wide x 46" high x 10" deep and features beveled glass doors as well as two adjustable cherry wood shelves that are grooved for china display. The back is selected veneer. The top has gorgeous carving and a pretty finial. The secretary base measures 36.5" wide x 41" high x 19" deep and features five drawers and a drop front with lock with key. There are cubbies inside the desk base as well as two drawers. The drawers are very clean inside. This secretary was manufactured in January. 1980 and is in excellent condition overall with a few exceptions. There are light dings and one more noticeable ding on the front of the secretary where it drops down(see pics#10, 11) There are also a few tiny chips low on the front two feet and one chip on the very back side of the secretary top. It is not very noticeable when it is against the wall, unless you are looking at the back(see pic#12) The Ethan Allen name is stamped in the top drawer and the date as well as the item number are stamped on the back. Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony. The desk is a reproduction made by the Maddox Table Co. of Jamestown, New York. This desk comes right out of the New England estate. The desk has those wonderful features most folks are looking for, such as all-wood drawers with dovetail corners, and clawed feet. The hardware and locks are the originals that came with the desk, not replacements. The desk was in my family for around 60 or so years, so the desk dates to at least 1950, and it may be older than that- I'm just not sure. The desk is the slant-front style, hinged at the bottom, so it opens up and the front lays flat to become the writing surface; the desk front can be locked. When the desk front is opened and lowered into the writing position, two arms come out automatically to support the writing surface. Inside the desk there are 3 small drawers, and holders for stashing letters and so forth. In the center of the opened desk, inside, there is a closed compartment with no lock; the compartment door is scratched. There are 3 drawers below the writing surface that extend almost the full width of the desk, and each one of them can be locked. These drawers have a graceful bow front(see photos) Above the desk itself is a prominent feature, a bookcase with 2 shelves covered by hinged glass doors that swing out and can be locked. The bookcase doors do not line up 100% vertically when closed, a common problem with these desks. Here is a used 1988 soft cover book on antique country furniture. Book II, by Don and Carol Raycraft. The book has shelf wear scratches, scrapes and rubs on covers. The covers have overall spotty and blotchy dull and shiny surfaces. The interior pages have the prices from the attached price guide in back, hand written in pen on or by the items. Lieber Company of Indianapolis purchased 650 of these hand carved molds. Later the Fritz Schaefers bought the molds and continued to use them until they retired in 1958. Antique Walnut Furniture Wood Carved Door Pediment 50" x 7" Fleur de Lis Design
Beautifully carved Walnut Furniture Door Pediment. This has been in my private collection for over 20 years. I call this my"French Fleur de Lis" Pediment since it has a similar design. Hangs great over doors or as an attachment to other furniture. Pediment is in great shape for it's age. Solid without repairs. Wood has a nice smooth matte sheen. I only use lemon oil to preserve the nature wood finish. Conditions: Wood damage on the back(Photos# 8#9) Small crack on top(10) Neither of which detach from it's wonderful craftsmanship. Both are hardly visible when hung since they are on the backside and top. Small holes in back to hang& small holes on each end to attach to furniture. Pediment measures 50" Long by Almost 7" Tall by Almost 1" Deep. Home is smoke and pet free so your pediment will arrive clean. ... morePest and critter free. Antique furniture appliqués from dresser and mirror repurpose 16 pieces
These came off an old dresser and mirror of same dresser. Not sure how old. I left the nails in place and tried to takes a lot of photos. 2 pieces measure 14 inches 2 at 11 inches. 8 at 8 1/2-9 inches 1 at approx. 4 inches. 1 approx. 2 3/4 and 2 approx 4 1/2 inches. They all show there age with some minimal scratching, 1 needs to be glued and one of the rope like appliqué is off. Pretty much though they are in tact. May be a small chip out of few. I have odds and end pieces that were in pretty bad shape but if if want them to mend the one that are in need just let me know at end of auction. Thank you.

Lot of VTG / ANTIQUE Dolls & Wooden Furniture - Czech?? - Estate Sale Find
Lot of vintage/ antique dolls& doll furniture possibly from the 30s/40s? Purchased from an estate sale. The original box that the furniture was shipped to the owner in is included- it indicates the items are from Czechoslovakia. Included are several dolls- condition ranging- I left the price tags that were there from the sale- not that it's an indication of actual worth of the individual items. There's a little baby that came with the furniture set. The wooden furniture is a little crude. But nice and appears hand painted- with slight wear here& there- overall great condition though. There's a wardrobe, a cradle for the baby(includes a cushion& pillow for the cradle& a couple of pieces of doll clothing for the baby as well) a table& chairs, a bed(with pillows& cushion) a bench, and a really neat chest/ ... moretrunk. Condition of items varies- please see pictures- this is a VINTAGE lot. A couple of flaws to note: the baby is very worn. Has a taped arm, etc/ the wardrobe has a missing peg on the bottom- see pic/ the wardrobe has a moisture mark on the front- faint but visible/ the bed has a piece of cardboard on the bottom. Here is a lot of 12 vintage wood finials decorative carved toppers. All are in great shape and ready to be used for your furniture, architectural antique wood projects. The bottoms measure approx. 1/2" in diameter. Where the bottom part taps into a hole, they tap in 1/2" deep- so your hole needs to be 1/2' in diameter, 1/2" deep to accomodate the finials. The finials. When set in measure approx. 1 1/2" around at the widest part by 2 1/2" tall. They are old, and if you want them to look new you will have to sand and re-varnish them. MATCHING SET OF 4 PORCELAIN CASTORS CASTERS FOR ANTIQUE FURNITURE
The porcelain caster wheels in this set measure approx 1 1/2" diameter. The cast iron tapered pins measure 2 3/8" in length and approx 1/4"diameter on top and 3/8" diameter on bottom. Casters are in god condition. I estimate age to be late 1800s- early 1900s era.

Holland Michigan" This is a great Spinet desk built in the early 1900's. Probably around 1910. It has a mahogany top and multiple drawers among other things.
