A true find for the avid collector or packer/crafter who wants a totally unique look- CLEAR jars Hazel Atlas"EZ seal" jars- BRAND NEW IN SEALED FACTORY CARTON. we found a few cartons of these collectible jars in an old glass storage warehouse unmoved since the mid 60's- totally environmentally sealed warehouse- so the jars are in great shape- the bails may show some corrosion consistant with metal that is over 50 years old. but the ones I opened to photograph were remarkably in great shape. though I am selling these with"no gaskets" there were a dozen in a sealed jar inside along with instruction- they were still usuable for storage- however I would recommend a new gasket for canning purposes. a FIDO gasket fits this jar- though it is larger on the outside then the original gaskets. Any jar collector- or antique collector ... morewill realize what a find this was! Hazel Atlas jars were American made canning and freezer storage jars of unsurpassed strength and quality- these jars were made prior to 1964 when the company was liquidated. Some comments on collectible jars from Hazel Atlas: 1 Look for jars embossed with the Atlas name in raised lettering. Take note of any dates or other information on the jars. The Hazel-Atlas company was in business from 1902 to 1964. During 1940s and'50s. The company was one of the largest producers of canning jars along with competitors Ball and Kerr. 2 Check the style and color. Only a few types of Atlas jars are collectible: the Atlas E-Z Seal. Atlas H over A Mason, and the Atlas Strong Shoulder Mason. Colors are usually blue-green or aqua, or clear. Beware of very strong colors which may indicate a reproduction or irradiated glass. 3 Look for identifying characteristics. Vintage AMETHYST 3-Tier TIDBIT - Hazel Atlas Moroccan, Cambridge Purple, Three
You are bidding on a wonderful amthyst 3 tier tidbit measuring 13" tall with handle. I'm unsure of the exact maker of this tidbit but Hazel Atlas and Cambridge were best known for making amethyst colored items. The top plate has 14 sides. The middle plate has 18 sides and the bottom plate has 18 sides. It screws apart and the hardware could use some cleaning but it looks terrific with food on it. As with many tidbits, there is a touch of cracking where the plate was punctured in the middle(as seen in photo) but otherwise there are no other nicks, chips or flakes in the plates. here for all you wile e. coyote fans out there is the actual plunger used in those warner bros. cartoons. Autographed by wile e. hisself, nope just kidding, what we have here is a 50 cap blasting machine that was used for mining there is a brass plate attached to the top that has a couple of minor dents that states the brand, capacity and also that this is good for 8 feet of iron wire or 30 feet of copper wire, the plate has a globe on it and if it and the wingnuts for the wires which are also brass were to be polished they would provide a nice contrast to the plunger box and give some class to that manhole or cave, the red paint is faded and old and the box itself has cracks from age as well as minor pieces missing, but this is to be expected from an aged veteran of a mans dreams for wealth, the plunger itself readily goes up and down and ... moreone can hear as well as feel a wheel turning inside the box as the plunger is quickly depressed, although i am uncertain if it generates electricity, there are the remnants of a leather strap that once was used to carry the plunger but the main part has long since been on the waste pile, here is a pretty cool piece of american history that you can own. the box measures 6 1/2 by 8 by 13 inches high

Vintage Hazel Atlas Green Vaseline Uranium Glass Large 9 " Kitchen Mixing Bowl
For auction is a vintage Hazel-Atlas green uranium/Vaseline mixing bowl for cooking. It measures 9 inches across the top. It is listed in the 2005 Hazel-Atlas Glass Identification and Value Guide by Gene and Cathy Florence on page 112. It shows the value of the bowl at $32.00-$35.00. The bowl is over 50 years old and was used so of course there is going to be utensil marks and surface scratches as well as bubbles in the glass that proves it is old. There is one place in the bottom corner of the bowl that almost looks like a round crack but it does not go through the bowl so it must have occurred during the manufacturing process(See picture 2) but does not affect use of the bowl at all. Overall the bowl is in good used condition. I am selling this bowl well below what it is valued at in hopes that someone who collects Vaseline glass can afford ... moreto buy it and enjoy it. This dish measures 4" wide and 8-1/2" long by 3-1/2" tall with the lid on. The bottom is in very good condition but the lid has some chips from use along its outer corners(seems to be common around estate auctions) but they do not affect its use in any way. An Absolutely Adorable Children's Tea Set in Original Box. Dishes have Never been used or played with. Box still has it's dividers and cardboard pieces to seperate the flat pieces. Little Hostess Party Set" is in the Moderntone pattern and produced by Hazel-Atlas in the 1950's. Every piece is Pristine just as nice as when they were made. Colors are Burgundy. Grey, Yellow, and Dark Green. Has the teapot with lid in burgundy, creamer and sugar in yellow and one of each of the saucers and plates in each of the four colors. The box shows very slight wear. Has a piece of scotch tape on it. The previous owner's name"Judy" is written on it also. Very small tear in one back corner. Showing photos of it from all sides. Included is the Gear Case, part# 10F-11; Shaft, part# 9-68; Gear, part# 9-102-12S; and Gear, part# 9-102-24. There are no chipped teeth, very minimal wear on the gears, the brown in the photos is grease and toning, no rust. This came off a 10" Atlas Lathe Model H-42, but will fit a 10" TH36, TH42, or H36 model Atlas lathes, a 12" Atlas lathe or Atlas/ Craftsman Model 101.07403, 101.27430, 101.27440.
