ANTIQUE STERLING OVERLAY GRAPEVINE MEXICO HAIGS GLASS THREE SIDED DECANTER FAB!
This is an old vintage glass decanter bottle with ornate sterling overlay done in the grapes and vine motif from estate. The bottle was made for Haig's which must of been a liquor or wine making company. The bottle is 9 1/2" by 5 1/4" and has three dimpled sides. It reads Lilyan 925 Mexico sterling and has the eagle mark on bottom. The glass and silver is in nice condition. The cap needs reatached to the cork which is no big deal. There is a super light not worth noting finger indentation on each of the two leaves on the cap from opening and closing. See photo. I see no other dents or damage to report. Antique Sanborns Sterling Silver Shell Dish 11 ounces/300+ grams Mexican Mexico
From my uncle's estate. At this rate I should have it cleared out in a decade. My uncle spent a significant portion of his time in Mexico in the 1940s-1960s. Gamefishing, conducting archaeological digs and being a general bon vivant. He told us this dish was given to him in the late 1940s after a night of carousing by a Colonel in the Mexican Federal Police for"services rendered. He always said it with a chuckle but God knows what he did to earn it. According to the scale in my post office this dish weighs 11 ounces. Or a little over 300 grams. It is in excellent condition with scrolled feet and an engraved base and is a fine example of the Mexican silversmith's art. From the hallmark I'd estimate it was crafted in the late 1930s- early 1940s. It measures 7 inches long by 4.25 inches wide by 4 inches high at the scrolled ... morehandle. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS HAND WOVEN MEXICAN SALTILLO RUG OR TEXTILE. Nice condition for its age- probably 1920's-1940's. There are some moth marks commensurate with its age- see pics. The design is wonderfully classic with its bright colors. Banding, long braided ends and or course the terrific diamond pendant in the middle. Very tighly woven. Truly a wonderful piece of art. About 21 inches long x 9 1/2 inches wide. Braiding extends further at each end. No returns. Thank you.

Antique Mexican/Mexico Pottery Bowl with Figure. Wall Hanging, Folk Art Charming piece of Mexican folk art. The figure appears to be fully intact with the exception of flaking on her bodice and base. The painting of the background scene is flaking in many places. But the scene retains its integrity. There is a firing crack which does not go through to the back as noted in photo#3. Design elements decorate the lip of the bowl and are intact. Made in Mexico is impressed in the back of the bowl. There is a hanger made out of pottery. This piece actually takes my breath away. I am a Nature Lover anyway. So that makes it even more meaningful. I think this is a sandpiper, walking on a beach. all inlay and it's large, sterling, hand crafted and can be worn as a pin or a pendant. A bit more than 2 inches. weight is approx. one ounce or 28 grams, this measurement is obtained on my food scale, so not precise but close. Old marks on the back indicate sterling, Taxco, RCJ and a bell with a 3 or an 8. very faded from age and wear. the locking part is missing, either that or it's made with an old C clasp. and it's a pendant too. Please study all pics, and ask any questions. that is what I am here for. to help you with anything I can.I will be listing another piece from Mexico, equally as fine, but more of a musical theme. there is an old piece of scotch tape on the back, ... moreit's really stuck on there, so I did not try to remove it. there is most likely a product made for removal of old tape, but I do not have it here. The book Southwestern Pottery: Anasazi to Zuni by Allan Hayes and John Blom describe it as this: Santa Clara and San Ildefonso. New Mexico undecorated blackware, the fanciest pottery of all the pueblos. According to the book. In 1880, the Denver& Rio Grande Railroad's legendary"Chili Line" connected Espanola to Sante Fe and suddenly Santa Clara's undecorated blackware became small in size and varied in shape: cream pitchers. Sugar bowls, vases, cups, candlesticks, dishes, bird and animal figurines and even a toy train. Rather than just being for tourists. Santa Clara condiment jars, sugar and creamers became tableware staples in Hispanic and Anglo households during the later years of the century. The years between 1880-1920 ... morewas called Santa Clara's"Period of Handles" This pitcher/bowl has a lightly engraved'teepee' shape on the bottom. Antique Mexico Carved Walking Stick Snakes w/ Eagle Lizards 36" (from Museum)
This is a 36" long tapered carved walking stick that is most likely to be from Mexico. As it has the eagle with a snake in its beak. There are also carvings of lizards. Feathers and cacti. I'm not sure how old it is. The wood is very heavy, much heavier than pine. It is a little worn from use, but is overall in great shape. I acquired this a few years ago in an auction lot from Bonhams. The Fresno Metropolitan Museum of Science and Art was closing down. And much of it was being auctioned off. This is where it came from. The only identifying mark from the museum was a tag that had written on it Walking Stick on one side and Deutsch Collection on the other side. Email me with any further questions.

Exquisite antique sterling silver large onyx and jasper ring. This is a very old ring made of pure sterling silver. In the center is a natural mined onyx stone measuring 13/16 inch by 5/8 inch. It is framed by a bezel of silver with 10 small brown jasper stones on the side of the bezel. This ring is a size 6 and could easily be resized. The back is stamped Eagle#1. Hecho en Mexico, and 925A. This ring is in superb vintage condition with patina from age. It weighs 12.5 grams or 8.0 dwt. Please ask any questions you may have, thank you for looking! Each individual piece is shaped like an Aztec Pyramid with 3 stacked sections. Each section of the Pyramid is outlined with Silver and completely backed with Solid Sterling Silver.
